Strong, look good.Eventually you’ll need these. Bust bones because you waited would be foolish. Put them up while you’re still able.

Used Wingits and 3/4” diamond tipped hole cutter WITH THE CENTER BIT THAT CAN BE REMOVED (carefully pick/bang/pry the residue out of it after each cut) and it made an easy task of drilling through our ceramic tiles and securely mounting the bar. The bar is very stable and durable and doesnt cost as much as many others.

The best available. We have 5 in our bathroom mounted through tile into 2" x 4" studs. They won't come loose! Strongly advise staying away from suction cup grab bars, as they may come loose when you need them the most. If these stainless steel bars get soapy in the shower, they rinse off very quickly. They are a MUST for elderly people in a shower. Long enough (18") to reach out and grab instead of frantically feeling for a shorter one on the way down! HIGHLY recommend.

This looks really nice, and I like that the middle part of it has a slight texture to improve grip. You will want to determine where your studs are before you buy anything. Mine were 16 inches apart, so I got the 18 inch version so I could mount it at an angle. I also had to get a special drill bit to go through the rock or faux marble or who knows what I have.Also, as others said, the screws are just *slightly* too big for the hole it calls for. So after drilling (wetting the bit every 20 seconds to keep from overheating), I then kind of leaned the drill bit into the walls of the hole with a tiny bit of pressure, to carve out another millimeter or so. After that the screws fit in great.I highly recommend putting some silicone caulk in the holes to make them water-tight. What I did was left the screws half-way out, then put caulk all over the screw's threads and the hole, then screwed them in all the way. That way caulk got all around the screws, providing a water-proof seal. After drying, I then used the rest of the caulk tube to go over the screws again, just to make sure it was good and water-proof.Anyway, I've been using this grab bar for a while now, and it's great. No rust or anything like that, and it absolutely can hold my weight.

We have used the MOEN bars before in the bathroom. Before my wife required knee replacement surgery, I installed the latest grab bar in the shower. I will install another MOEN grab bar in our bathtub area in an upstairs bathroom. They have a patented secure fastening system which utilizes the hidden wall studs. A simple stud finder will be useful for the installation. I am very pleased with this purchase hence the 5 star rating.

Well made grab bar. Totally necessary for us seniors who have difficulty getting into and out of the shower. Adds much needed security.

This solves my problem getting in and out to/from a tall bathtub. The grip is just enough and very sturdy. I used an electric drill to install this, it is very easy. One happy customer here. Always remember to keep safety first, especially in the bathroom.
