Works better than my original Apple MacBook Pro Charger ! (For MacBook Pro Model A1286, 17 inch Laptop with 15 inch Screen, Mid 2009 Model). This new replacement runs SO MUCH COOLER than my original Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter (Model A1290, Copyright 2009, Input:100-240V, 1.5A, 50-60Hz, Output: 16.5-18.5V, 4.6Max). The "L" shaped MagSafe connector fits perfectly into my Mac's MagSafe Port even though my original had a "T" shaped connector of which I was very worried about it being compatible, but, it works great, charges up to 100% with no problem !!! I am SO HAPPY because if this didn't work, I would have had to buy a new Mac which ain't cheap !!! I Highly recommend this charger from this seller.

This is a great charger for replacement or back-up use. I had an older Mac laptop that had lost it's charger. This one works great at a great price. It doesn't have the little "piece of fruit" logo on the side, but I'll take this MUCH less expensive charger that works well instead and keep my cash.

The description of this charger mentions that it will work on my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 13 inch model. It does not list this in the headline but if you scroll down it clearly says that it will support the machine in a table listing all the supported laptops. This is a 85W charger made for larger MacBooks, my OEM adaptor was 60W. No big deal, the MacBook will pull the needed 60W and the price still can't be beat. The bigger issue is MagSafe 1 connector fitting a little loosely in the laptop's charging port. I have a clam shell cover on my MacBook and it's been on the machine since I bought it - the OEM adapter wasn't an issue. This MagSafe 1 connector comes in contact with the cover and disconnects the charger if the cable is routed towards the rear of the computer. Again, no big deal but if I'm using the computer while the adapter is connected and the cover is on, I have to route the cable towards the front of the machine.

It even has a better connector than the OEM that I lost. I only use this Mac for email at home, and other than not running the latest OS, and not being able to use a spell checker (makes me think..) this has a 'much nicer 'keyboard than two Windows laptops I have parked. Jim/MD

If I were to by a licensed Apple Product it would have been at least a couple hundred dollars. This product works exactly the same minus a slightly deffrent case design and no Apple Logo. So if you want to pay three times the price for an Apple Logo, then this is not your product. But if you just want to charge your computer then this is fine.
