THE NEMECHEK PROTOCOL FOR AUTISM AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS: A How-To Guide For Restoring Neurological Function

Dr. Nemechek's hypothesis is that the failure of the body to heal itself is because of the failure of the brain and the autonomic nervous system. In the book, he brilliantly and simply explains the mechanisms at play that results in autistic spectrum disorders in children, and chronic conditions in adults - which are often undiagnosable, untreatable, and dismissed by mainstream medicine/doctors. The food-based method laid out by Dr. Nemechek is aimed at treating small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) to restore gut microbiota balance and at reversing autonomous nervous dysfunction. It is easy to understand, inexpensive and simple to follow - but it does need constant, dedicated work by parents & patients. 5 months into the protocol, my family has come back from the brink of despair and stepped off the hamster wheel of (treating) chronic illness. This book and the community around the Nemechek Protocol has helped us manage some major issues (food sensitivities, anxiety, anger, tantrums, rage, chronic fatigue, b12 deficiencies and more) which were unresolved by other methods (Biomed, supplements, diets etc) for years. Simply Amazing! In the first week I noticed more awareness in my toddler who has been in his own little world up till that point. He very delayed in language and motor skills. He hasn’t been diagnosed with autism because of his young age, but he is at the very least delayed in several areas. We’ve been at the protocol for 7 weeks now and the gains I see every week are nothing short of a miracle, I feel like shouting from the roof tops about this amazing protocol. If your child has any delays, sensory issues, autism etc there is hope. My toddler is now saying new words constantly, is engaging more, has more awareness of his surroundings, is now playing with toys appropriately and even more gains than this. It sounds so woowoo when you read about what little is actually needed to start the healing journey. But if you read the science it makes so much sense and shows how key nutrients support the incredibly resilient body. My 3 year old son has been on the NP for 4 months and it has played an integral role in bringing my va((ine injured son back. Within three days he was speaking in full sentences and making eye contact and today he is talking so much and so clearly, telling jokes, socializing appropriately, and thriving in every area of life. I have no doubt that there are so many other effective healing protocols for children in need but if people want to start somewhere NP is affordable, accessible, and so easy to implement.My only issue with NP is that it does not address the heavy metal toxicity in our children and it’s rigidity on avoiding this detox leaves a lot of parents worried one of the root causes is not being addressed. I hope NP gets the notoriety it much deserves and that good doctors and scientists can take a conservative approach to address this issue too.Dr. Nemechek truly cares about healing children and this protocol has been one of the greatest endeavors we’ve taken on. I can finally sleep more peacefully at night when thinking about my son’s future and his quick and beautiful turnaround is a testament to the Nemechek Protocol.
