AmpliGame AM8P XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone for Gaming Recording

I love this microphone. The recorded audio comes through crystal clear, and the mic feels solid and high quality. It was easy to set up with Windows and worked without any compatibility issues. The stand feels stable, and the microphone is easy to adjust into the right position. The LED lighting is a nice touch and gives it a polished look on my desk. Great performance and value for the price.

I needed a microphone for my podcast and this mic is great! In fact I bought 2! Great and clear sound. I like the mic controls and it works well with my laptop and camera. Easy to use and easy to assemble. A wonderful mic at a great price.

I read books on youtube and have been searching for a new mic for a while. I saw this little guy and decided to give it a try. It is a medium sized mic with a build in stand and foam cover. There are several different light colors you can chose as well as how sensitive the microphone is and the sound is amazing. Absolutely worth the money. It doesn't pic up any background noise unless I have the sensitivity way up. Then it will even pick up if you touch the table it's sitting on. It's a sturdy material and I think it will last a long time. I love using this, it makes my recording days not so long. It's also very stable and doesn't wiggle around on the table. It's compatible with windows 10, and is at a comfortable height, which can be adjusted. It's also usb, so I can just plug it in and go.

What can I say? This microphone is, unique. I definitely love it. I've been using it for about two months now. It's not overly large. The microphone quality is, heh, insane to say the least. A couple of nights ago, I was on R.E.P.O with my friends. I paired this microphone with the DT 990 Pro 250ohm just for clarification, and have the microphone set to 2 channel, 24 bit, 48000Hz for maximum usage on my PC. Anyway, I went to the restroom. I didn't have the gain or the microphone itself loud, or so I thought. So, I went to the restroom. I do my business, I come back, and they're staring at me (we were on a call on Discord). Like, HARDCORE staring at me. So, I ask, "what's wrong?". They tell me, "Quinn, we heard everything. Are you ok? Do you need to go to the hospital?". At this point, I'm utterly dumbfounded. They continue. They say to me, "we first heard you fart, groan loudly, something bangs, and a bunch of words". I say a "bunch of words" because this is Amazon. Anyway, needless to say, this microphone can pick up your bathroom habits, so keep the volume low. Furthermore, when paired with an RTX or GTX card, of which I have an RTX 3080 Ventus 10g 3x OC; there isn't any headroom whatsoever. But that's NVIDIA. Anyway, when used with voice isolation software, it effectively cuts out my mechanical keyboard typing noise, clicking noises, any random farts or burps, and my cat doesn't pick up on it. 9/10 for functionality and ease of use. I say that for one reason only. On rare occasions, the microphone will cut off and not turn on. It's not really inconvenient for me. Just a little annoying. It's an easy fix. Just unplug the USB-C from the back of it and plug it back in. Sometimes USB-C just needs to be reinitialized in certain systems. My system is a high security workstation that I use for gaming at certain times with a significant amount of power. It gets angry with drivers sometimes. It happens. Anyway, overall, 9/10 microphone. 100% worth it. When plugged into XLR instead, the voice quality is even better. But, for PC users, it is significantly better than any headset microphone. I went through 5 different premium-to-non premium brands and found that headsets aren't for me as an audiophile. They don't have the sound quality like this microphone. The gain. The fact that it can pick up my elephant farts, a room away with the door closed. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the FIFINE AM8 USB/XLR microphone to replace a gaming headset that quit working (due to my cat chewing up the cord), and overall my experience has been very positive. The mic delivers solid sound quality and offers a lot of flexibility for the price. Giving it a 4 out of 5 stars only due to the fact that this mic has a small issue with the RGB lighting. What I like: The sound quality is excellent for the price. While recording my voice comes through clear and natural, and it’s a big upgrade from the headset microphones I had been using before. Having only used it in USB mode I cannot say anything about the XLR functionality, however, for my use case this mic has been amazing. It works great as a plug-and-play USB mic, but also gives the option to move to a more advanced XLR setup later. Setup is quick and easy, and the mic feels well built. The controls are simple and convenient, and the RGB lighting adds a nice visual touch to a gaming or streaming setup. The size of this mic is not small, however, it also isn't very heavy. Meaning it can be used with a variety of different mic stands or arms. What could be better: The RGB light at the bottom of the mic can turn off if the cord is moved too much. The microphone itself continues to work fine, but the lighting sometimes needs the cable adjusted to turn back on. Another small issue (don't mind me, I'm just being picky) is that the rubber on the bottom of the mic stand tends to attract a lot of debris. Not too much of a problem unless like me you have cats who like to lay on your desk so it collects cat hair. Real-world use: I use this mic regularly for gaming, voice chat, and recordings, and it’s been reliable overall. Aside from the small RGB issue, performance has been consistent. Value for the price: For the price, this mic offers great value. The sound quality and dual USB/XLR support make it stand out compared to other microphones in the same range. Final recommendation: I would recommend the FIFINE AM8 to anyone looking for a good-sounding, versatile microphone without spending a lot. As long as the RGB lighting issue isn’t a dealbreaker, it’s an excellent choice.

I absolutely love this microphone. I purchased it as a replacement for my old Yeti Blue microphone and this was an upgrade, I would say. It is a great price for the value it brings, it is plug and play with little need for any software. I no longer feel like I need something to control the gain of the microphone. It is sturdy, works with all of my software, and sounds fantastic. I can have it 6 feet away and turn the gain up and be heard clearly, or lower the gain and have it closer to me for that studio feeling. It WILL pick up your keyboard/mouse or other things in the room unless you dampen the sound with software - but that isn't of concern for me.

Very nice microphone, may not be the best sound quality for the price range but I love the look of it! It feels durable and well made, perfect for XLR setups or plug and play with the USB cable, works on Windows flawlessly, happy as I can use different mic arms/stands with it easily!

This is the second time I have purchased this product - the first time for myself, and the second time as a gift. I've used the FIFINE AM8 for close to two years now and it's an amazing microphone. Let me break down everything you need to know. The mic voice quality is great. Can it be better? Yes for sure, but at a considerably higher price point. And that difference is not very big - but the price difference will be. The quality is great for voice calls in Discord and even good enough for streaming, recording and creating content. If you have a larger room, it could pick up some echo, but not enough for it to be a problem ever. And it won't be a problem if you keep the microphone close to you, which is the preferred way of using microphones like this. I use my AM8 on an underslung boom arm and it works great from me (also from FIFINE). Additionally, I use my AM8 with the FIFINE Ampligame SC3 because I wanted to use the XLR instead of USB. The pairing is amazing. Let's talk about the features. You get the option of XLR and USB. I've used both and even made a video comparing the two. Some people claim there is a difference with the XLR yielding better quality, but in my experience its minuscule. Having both options for XLR and USB is amazing. Something to note: you do not get the RGB light if you use XLR connection. Next, the RGB button is fine and so are the control knobs. I don't really use them ever since I have the Ampligame mixer, but they are there if you need them. There is a mute button but its a touch button instead of an actual press. If this is a deal breaker for you, don't get this microphone. The mute button only works with USB. I use a mixer which has a mute button on it - so to me this isn't a problem. The optional stand is fantastic - one of the best desk stands I've tried. I like that you have the option of either using the desk stand or mounting it to the boom arm. The RGB brightness is pretty weak. The build itself looks sleek, but its plastic. However, no complaints from me. Pros: - Voice quality is great - Option for XLR and USB - Looks sleek - Usable for regular calls, recording and streaming - Good desk stand included - Option for boom arm mounting - Headphone jack on the microphone Cons: - Mute button is not my favorite - Weak RGB light Conclusion: I don't think you can beat this microphone for the price. It sounds great, looks great and functions just how I need it to. Been using it for so long and will continue to use it. Awesome option for a desktop microphone.

This is a great microphone for gaming, streaming and just everyday use. It's a great upgrade compared to your built-in or headset microphones, giving much clearer and crispier sound quality. Having both the USB-C and XLR connectivity is a great feature to connect to a variety of things, and it worked right out of the box with zero drivers on USB. It also gives an easy upgrade path to an audio interface later on. It does a great job of cancelling background room noises like keyboard clicks and fans, but keeps your voice front and center. The tap-to-mute button on the back is also super convenient, and combined with the LED status light, makes it clear whether you are live or muted. In USB mode, the dedicated gain control and headphone monitoring jack make quick adjustments effortless, and the customizable base RGB lighting adds a nice touch to the desk setup. Overall, it sounds clear, warm, and professional.

Great mic, I got it for doing a podcast for work and it is on a great stand and works well with Adobe suite. You do have to be fairly close to it but not overly. Good quality.
