I was certain these were complete blackout, until summer came in my office and I looked closely to see the sun was still breaking through the tiny holes between threads in the fabric. I bought a different blackout curtain of pure polyester, and that has no holes for the sun to peak through. 90% of people likely won't notice the difference, but if you get migraines from working in the sun like me, the difference will matter.

Some suction cups didn't work until I cleaned & wet the window. After that they worked for a long time. I use them to block my apartment windows but I only anchor the top of the curtain so I can pull them to the side and let light in when I'm awake without removing all the suction cups. Overtime, this frays the cheap drawstring and breaks it.

Some of the suckers do not stick to the window no matter what I do, so it is currently being held up by two suckers at the top. My cat has jumped on the blackout blinds and hung there so many times and it STILL hasn't fallen or even budged. It kinda freaks me out a bit. The blinds themselves are great. Because of the malfunctioning suction cups I can't get my room to the full darkness it provides, but it can get pleasantly dark and I feel my privacy is safe day and night.

We have black out curtains in our bedroom, I get migraines a lot, also makes it nice if you just want to take a nap.When we go to my sisters, she has sheer curtains, everywhere, and when I just happened to come across these, well, they sounded like this was going to take care of that early morning sunshine. I will be doing another review once we've used them.The #1 reason I chose these, I actually didn't know anything like this, til I now have looked them up. Pony Dance Blackout Curtain has a lot more suction cups compared to the ones I had read, so they could stay snug on the glass or frame. Depending how large your windows are, you can put these up on the frame, you don't have to put them on the glass. However, if you have large windows, because you live in an older home, these will just fit the glass. I can't wait to go to my sister's house.Thank You Pony Dance for coming up with the idea.

Shipped fast, and comes with a very nice bag to carry it. The assembly was tedious. I had to use a screwdriver to open rings to attach to grommets. Suction cups were all bent so I had to reshape with hot water. The grommets are rusty, so I had to clean them off. I am letting it air out before we pack it. Overall, it will work as we need, blackout level is good. Not sure I would order again.

I bought this to block the sunlight from the window in our theater room, and it works great. At about 10am, the sun beats into the window, and even with a pull down shade and a standard curtain on top of that, there was too much sunlight in the room to use the projector. Now, when I hang this blackout curtain over the other window coverings, it darkens the room almost completely. I can even watch a darkly lit movie with the projector in eco mode at the brightest part of the day. I bought some S hooks, and I prefer hanging this blackout curtain on the rod with those, rather than using the suction cups.

This does a great job filtering out 90% of the light, which is a lot when the sun rises right into my daughter's window. The versatility is great and allowed me to cover every edge of her window without any customization. The suction cups have great grip and haven't budged in several months. The downside is that placing the individual suction cups is tedious and hard on the hands. And there are a lot of them!

Overall pleased with the product. About 1/4 of the suction cups were bent upon arrival and will not stick to the glass, but the remaining 3/4 ones work fine. I just didn't use any cups on the bottom row, which isn't a huge deal breaker. I'd recommend them to friends, with a warning to expect to not use all of the auctions it comes with. It does a good job at blocking the sunlight, though.

Purchased for travel and it's a better blackout than the curtains I purchased from home. Easily adjusts to window size and didn't have to worry about suctions coming off the window. A little light gets around the edges -- enough to see around the room but not enough to read a book. Overall very happy with this purchase and would even get a second.

Half of the grommets and rings are all rusty as you can see in the images. And one grommet is not very secure and kind of ripped out.And some light is still coming through the fabric.Also, attaching 20 key rings to the suction cups was not fun. I feel like there's a better system for that. My hands got filthy from the rust and now I'm afraid the rust will get on other things.Bad quality.I'll likely return.

I bought these for our nursery, which wasn’t getting dark enough. These were easy to fit to my window, which was slightly smaller (narrower and shorter) than the curtains are. While some of the suction cups were a little deformed, as I had read other reviewers complaining about, they all stuck to the window with no problems. I didn’t even have to soak them in water as suggested in the instructions.I also like that now I can easily take these down and let light into the room during the day/non nap times and easily travel with them.Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Everything is great with this blackout curtain except the suction cups. It blacks out all light, is portable, fits a variety of sizes but half the suction cups don't stick. Have tried everything, like a previous review I read and it doesn't help. Soaked them in hot water (they went to their intended form) and cleaned the glass and still not sticking. Even tried putting duct tape to help hold them in place. I would not get them again but for the price its a decent buy. Just make sure you use the cups that do stick.

I’ve tried three of these and this one is THE BEST. It’s super sticky suction cups and tight edges make it the very best black out shade ever!! You have to put about 85 suction cups onto the shade before it’s ready to go which took about 20 minutes, but it wasn’t too bad. If that is making it cheaper because I’m assembling it, you won’t hear me complaining! I have had mine up for about two months now and it hasn’t budged a smidge. It makes my toddler’s room pitch black!

The way this is designed is horrible. they use suction cups with rings to hang from leaving a space for light to come through at the top??? unclear why they did this maybe they never tried to black out a room.....As I stated before the quality of the suction cups is that when you apply it the fourth time you decide to hell with it and screw it into the wall....spend ten more dollars to get suction cups that attach directly to the curtain.Fabric is good packaging was good they could just upgrade suction cups which gives me an idea maybe I will search suction cups on amazon and upgrade and attach them directly to the fabric through the hole eyelets.

I purchased the blackout blind to make sure there was darkness, which shut out light from street lights near my house. In addition to prevent light from my room interfering with the neighbors light, as well as, the neighbors light interfering with my sleep. As professed, the blind is perfect at keeping the light out and I cannot see shades of light since using it.
