Helavo All Terrain Walker, 12" Pneumatic Tires, Outdoor Rollator Walker

I’ve only had it under a week so I can’t say anything on its durability. However I am very pleased so far. I managed to put it together myself but it took me about an hour to do so. Mostly because I kept on studying the instructions but it did slot together very easily and it’s very sturdy , I am currently 16 stone and I feel confident it will take my weight easily . My other rollator that I used and still do for around the house was terrible outside. It rattled and I felt every bump and it vibrated up my arms. I really wanted to go outside but I was put off because it hurt my arms. This beauty is the rolls Royce of rollators and I should know because to date I have purchased 9. I have been able to walk to my local park everyday without any issues. The tyres take all the impact and it rolls smoothly even over uneven surfaces. I have taken my 2 Pomeranians out for a walk and they are very impressed. The seat is a the right height for me as I am 5ft 7inches . It’s comfortable and the back support is padded. I could sit on it for a long period if I had to. The bag is a generous size and I can put all my bits in it. The cup holder is a nice touch and I put my coffee flask in it . It’s given me the confidence to think about going further a field. It’s a big thumbs up from me 👍

I’m very pleased with my purchase. It arrived as stated and earlier than expected. The instructions for assembly were straightforward. I did find aligning the holes quite difficult I could have done with two people. But once one aligned the other was easy. I have taken it out into the meadow with an all weather path and it was easy to handle and moved easily over the terrain. I also took it into the woods and again it was stable. It moves easily over gravel pathways. It is good to be able to be able to sit when needed. The seat and backrest are comfortable. The Rollator is sturdy and well made. It folded easily and fitted into the car boot. I’m delighted with it and it will make a big difference to my life. The best thing is that when I’m using it I’m not in pain when walking. The first time for nearly 3 years. I’m looking forward to being more mobile and being able to take my dog out for walks again.

This rollator bought for my husband who has suffered a stroke, is definitely sturdy and easy to use. My only problem is that it is rather heavy and unwieldy for me to lift it into the back of our car. (T-Roc) I am rather old (84) but I am reasonably strong for my age,, and can get a lightweight wheelchair in and out more easily. The rollator has nice big blow up wheels which make it more comfortable to walk with over rough ground, and there is plenty of that around where I live. My husband loves it and it definitely helps his walking a lot.

My father is 92 and marvellous for his age but is beginning to get more unsteady in his feet. As he likes to her 4000 steps in a day, he goes for walks but recently decided that just a walking stick wasn’t enough to make him feel safe and stable. He had a rollator in the house, originally bought fit my mother some year ago. He tried it and although it gave him greater stability, the wheels were just solid rubber. As the pavements around where he lives are mostly tarmac and, in many places, distorted by tree roots and general wear and tear, he found the solid wheels of the old walker transferred too much vibration up to the handles and was very uncomfortable on his hands and wrists. So, after much searching and many enquiries, I was eventually directed to this model, with its pneumatic tyres. This is exactly what he needs. The pneumatic tyres absorb the vast amount of vibration from the ground and he finds it so much more comfortable and easy to walk with. He really likes the shopping bag on the front because it means he can walk up to the local supermarket and bring back a few things without having to carry them back, especially if it’s weighty things like milk or sugar. He thinks the walking stick holder on the side is a great idea, too. And the cup holder and he’s looking forward to the nice weather when he can collect a cup of coffee from the shop, then walk to the local park and then sit in the rollator to drink it in the sunshine. The walker is very easy to fold up, so it fits in the cupboard under the stairs when not in use. Although the wheels make it bit bulkier than the other one he had, it can still fold and go in the boot of my SUV. When you unfold it and press the seat down, it latches down with an audible, satisfying click so you can be confident it is fixed down. But a sharp tug on the handle in the centre of the seat will unlatch it easily and allow you to fold it up. I can see, because it’s so much easier to push this one along, it allows him to stand straighter, rather than bent forward, battling with the vibrations of the old one. I got it delivered direct to his house and suggested he wait till I visit to put it together but he decided he’d do it himself. He did find that quite hard, although he is a very practical man with a DIY bent. He found it hard to identify the pictures in the instructions booklet as relating to parts of the rollator. However, having said that, he did eventually get it put together and working properly - though I think many elderly people would find it tricky and would need help to do it. But, once it’s together, it is a really great accessory to help people who need that extra support walking and to increase their independence and confidence.

Brilliant! So much better than my last one. with the bigger wheels it rides out all the rough pavements so now my arms aren’t so sore. Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. It feels very substantial and makes me walk properly. It has a nice bag that holds a lot. I am very pleased

Great rollator. Large wheels are better at handling uneven terrain especially like dirt trails. I will say that while its better than my old drive rollator, it does still struggle with some cobblestones. The ones that are extremely uneven or have large gaps/height differences can be a struggle but in general its a great help.

Think carefully before purchasing the Helavo All Terrain Walker, 12" Pneumatic Tires, Outdoor Rollator Walker, it is not suitable for people over 6 feet tall. Unfortunately, Helavo do not supply kits for increasing the height of the handles which would overcome the shortcomings of this Rollator Walker, nor do they encourage any modification apart from this it is a good bit of equipment.

Ii was finding walking more difficult and my gait was getting worse. The cost was putting me off, plus I was bamboozled with all the reviews. I needed an all terrain rollator that actually would cope with all terrains. Yes this heavy is easy to use on pavements, lawns, an uneven ground. I wanted to know what it was like on a meadow. I haven't been able to visit the donkeys for ages, but this walker is fantastic on that surface. The bag is convenient for my mobile phone and carrots! The bag did fall off of the hooks but I resolved this with polystyrene crafting ball which work well. (As seen in photo). I find the foot peddle for mounting kerbs useful as well as the cup and can holder. I brought this during prime day but I wish I had brought it sooner. It ha really helped to improve my walking gait and allowed me to walk more upright and straight and I can now walk a little faster.

Ich spare nicht mit Sternchen, denn ich bin mit dem Rollator HELAVO zufrieden bis glücklich. Bei meiner Suche wurde ich zunächst durch ein Angebot von hundert Modellen verunsichert. Aber ich suchte etwas Geländegängiges, am besten mit luftgefüllten Reifen, und da wurde es schnell übersichtlicher. Ich brauche einen Rollator aus zwei Gründen: mein Gleichgewichtssinn lässt nach, und ich komme (88-jährig) beim Laufen zuweilen außer Atem und setze mich dann gern. Die Beine machen dagegen noch gut mit. Der HELAVO kommt weitgehend vormontiert in einer Schachtel. Der Zusammenbau ohne Werkzeug (6 Flügelschrauben) war mit der ausführlichen Beschreibung schnell erledigt. Offenbar sind (für den Fall eines Falles) auch Ersatzteile zu bekommen. Die Roll-Eigenschaften finde ich gut. Die lenkbaren Vorderräder laufen ruhig und spurtreu. (Lasse ich das Gerät bergauf 5 Meter voraus eilen, so kommt es exakt zurück.) Die feststellbare Handbremse wirkt auf die Reifen der kleinen Hinterräder und ist für Stillstand gedacht; in Fahrt würden die Räder blockieren (zum Glück nicht die Vorderräder). Die Beinfreiheit ist gut, man könnte sehr aufrecht gehen, dann aber halt mit weniger Unterstützung. Der Sitz ist bequem, die Lehne ist "atmungsaktiv", was sich im Sommer bewähren dürfte. Die einhängbare Tasche lasse ich meist weg. (Für Einkäufe nehme ich das E-Trike mit Anhänger.) Der HELAVO ist solide gebaut. Er hat ein stattliches Gewicht von 9,5 kg. Über drei Treppenstufen kann ich ihn hinwegheben, ansonsten sind Treppen zu meiden. Einen Bordstein schafft man mit Hilfe des kleinen Fußtritts mühelos. (Ohne wär's mühsam.) Es ist erstaunlich, wie leicht der Rollator bergauf rollt. Bergab will er gut festgehalten werden. Praktisch, wenn man bei Gegenverkehr mit einem Griff den Rollator auf halbe Breite schrumpfen lassen kann. Mit einem beidhändigen Druck auf den Sitz schnappt die volle Breite von 66 cm wieder ein. Die Reifen kamen richtig aufgepumpt, da war nichts zu tun. (Mit den Schrader-Ventilen käme ich schon zurecht.) Den Druck werde ich im Auge behalten. Zu hart wäre unangenehm, zu weich schlecht für die Bremsen. Wie gesagt, das Angebot ist riesig und der passende Rollator sorgfältig zu wählen. Der HELAVO ist für die Wohnung zu klobig, zum Reisen zu schwer. Für Leute wie mich ist er genau richtig. Er fährt mühelos "über Stock und Stein". Ich würde ihn sogar ohne Skrupel zur einstündigen Bahnfahrt nach München mitnehmen. Erfahrung nach 1/4 Jahr: Die Vorderräder sollen so leicht lenken, dass sie die Kurven freiwillig mitmachen, aber auch nicht so locker sein, dass sie zu zum seitlich Schwingen neigen, was nach etlichen Wochen der Fall sein kann und schlimmstenfalls den Piloten ins Stolpern bringt. Sodann ist es ratsam, die für das Lenken zuständigen beiden Schraubenmuttern zu justieren. Im Bild sind zwei geeignete Werkzeuge zu sehen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente andadera para exteriores Me sorprendió la calidad y estabilidad de esta andadera Helavo. Las llantas neumáticas de 12" facilitan mucho el desplazamiento en superficies irregulares, banquetas, terracería y caminos exteriores. Se siente resistente, segura y con buena tracción. También me gustó que sea cómoda de maniobrar y que tenga un diseño práctico. Es muy ligera.
