Good sturdy product but manufactured wrong. The thread is right hand on both sides but they should be righthand lefthand because one side is hard to put on because the wire runs lefthand in the hose. Other than that they are also a little undersized so you can pull the hose off with less pressure than it takes to thread it on even on the righthand side, actually that side was a little easier to pull off. This means you still need to use clamps.

Works well

This was a perfect fix, after a landscaper got to close to our septic hose. Just cut out the damaged hose, and connected to hose together again.

I was able to add a 10’ section of hose for the campsite that requires the extra length. It was not 100% water tight as I saw a slight leak where the hose screwed on. One suggestion when installing is to use a heat gun to soften the hose for easy installation.

It works... but it's *not* leak proof. It took two of us to get the hose completely screwed into this thing on each end, and even following the instructions for screwing it on all the way and then some (It says to push several rings up against the center for a secure leak proof fit) the thing still leaked when emptying a very full tank.

These work but they are very hard to put on a new hose. Had to hold with a big pair of channel locks.
