This remote paired to my roku tv just fine and works great. I have had it for a while now and it still works great with it.

Our remote had stopped working, and in addition was missing a few buttons. When this arrived I thought it would work right away, but it didn't work at all. We did the following steps as recommended by Insignia Support, and it started working.Power Cycle the TV1. Remove the power cord from the tv/outlet for a few minutes (we did it for five.)2. Plug back in AFTER you have reset the new/old remote.Resetting the remote.1. While the tv is still powered off, remove the batteries from the remote.2. Turn the remote over so the buttons face down on a hard surface and gently rock back and forth pressing in all the buttons. I also held in the power and volume buttons.3. Check that all the buttons covers are still connected correctly. (Our Google Play button had come partially out and was stuck. We gently pushed it back in.)4. Replace the batteries and cover.After completing these steps our new remote works!

We just moved a long distance, and somehow list the TV remote in the process. We couldn't use our phones, because the TV wasn't set to the new network yet. This remote worked exactly as advertised. I popped in batteries and it immediately worked on the TV. I was able to turn it on, get the internet settings updated, surf channels, change volume- the whole lot of it. So glad this was such an easy and inexpensive fix!

Sometimes when scrolling, it double clicks. Not on the actual remote, but on the TV. So you have to skip backwards. It's annoying, but the remote itself does work.

I had purchased two replacement remote controls about three years ago for our Roku television. Although satisfactory, the frames were too flexible and finally, after dropping one on the floor, it was like Humpty-Dumpty and I couldn't put Humpty together again.So, I ordered one of these - what an improvement over the previous construction. This unit is more rigid and has a much more positive touch response for moving selections up/down and left/right.Although the second of my older units was still functional (but hard to use the selector) - I just ordered another of this design and tossed the old one.Real value for the price!

Puppy chewed the Roku TV remote for a TV we’ve had for a few years. I was concerned, imagining needing to write a letter to Insignia with a check for a replacement remote plus shipping and handling. Something difficult and overpriced like that. Luckily, I found this replacement remote for $6-7 on Amazon! It worked perfectly out of the box (I added two triple A batteries) - no pairing process needed. Puppy is still in trouble. But happy to have the new remote just a day after his goof up.

I've bought a couple of these over the past year. Mine tend to hide in the couch or under magazines.They are great replacements.

I got a hand-me-down Insignia Roku TV missing a remote. This inexpensive remote actually works perfectly. All I did was insert batterries and started pressing the power button until the TV turned on. All buttons work as the original. So excited!
