We purchased this to take away camping, as our camper only has a grill and two gas burners and we were limited as to what we could cook.Having received this prior to the recent glorious weekend, we tried it out using normal charcoal for a bbq and a couple of burgers. The charcoal was soon ignited and took the recommended 25 minutes to get flameless, the burgers cooked to perfection quite quickly. While we ate them I cooked a banana wrapped in foil, for pudding.The BBQ exceeded my expectations, and I cannot wait to take it away camping with us. I will be purchasing the cobbles to speed up the lighting process, as well as the accelerator (so that we can have a cuppa and keep our awning warm after cooking tea.I would recommend this product, and the fact that it was about £30 cheaper on amazon than most other places. A great buy for the summer.We also will not be keeping it in the camper, as we envisage using it a lot on warm summer Sundays on the garden.

Excellent
I saw one of these when on hols in Devon, really liked the idea that you could use a block fuel or traditional charcoal. It's a nice and tidy unit, ideal for the beach or camper.Very tempted to buy one whilst on holiday, but held off, if I recall it was over £100.00' so held off.Had a look on the usual sites when home and found the cheapest on Amazon by at least £50, so it was a no brainer.

Good for a fine weather cooker.
I want to give this a higher mark but can't for the reasons below. Nicely made, good cooking surface. When the weather is ok it heats up nicely and does a good job but in this slightly colder and windy weather (and it is by no means really cold) I haven't been able to get it up to a good temperature. The reason for marking it down is twofold: 1. it doesn't seem to perform in colder weather and 2. I wrote twice to Oldpro asking for suggestions and I have had no response at all.

Happy BBQ days
Bought this as just returned from Australia stayed with South African friends who got this out one night it was fab so had to get 1 for ourselves bring on many easy less stressful days of BBQ's
