Saves the Tile and Works as Advertised
I purchased two of the Taili Grab Bars for my shower. I had a fall in a hotel tub. Ever since I have been concerned about a repeat, at home. Our shower is new and with expensive tile work. No grab bars were installed when the shower was built. Knowing that anchored bars would be the most secure, I was concerned about the quality of a suction grab bar. The Taili bars have been installed for nearly a year and even after many steam showers they maintain their suction and provide the support I need. It is as if they are anchored, the suction is strong and supports better than advertised. My tile is protected and the bars fit my hand well and are secure even when they are wet. A great value for the money and safe.

Flexible product that works well
Works really well. Is portable and can be put up, taken down as required. Easy to position as long as you have the proper surface area for the cups (best on flat surface like tile). I found it useful for helping people that visit our house to use the shower if they need extra stability getting in/out. It has very powerful suction with an adhesive type material on the suction cups that makes it stick very sturdy, yet you can remove it without much trouble.

Very strong when in place.
Great stabilizer for me in the shower. Just something to hang on to while shaving your legs. It does need something completely smooth to stick. I tried it on the back side of mt shower surround which has small squares etched it and it wouldn't stick. Just moved it to the other side and it sticks perfectly.

FAILED after 8 Months
This grab bar stayed on the tile wall for 8 months until it completely FAILED.No one uses it and it still FAILED!!!It is in my guest bathroom and I haven't had anyone use the shower/bath tub since I installed it.Suddenly, after 8 months, it suddenly fell off the wall (scared the crap out of me, to be honest!).I reattached it and it fell off again. I reattached it and it fell off again.I shudder to think what would have happened if someone was gripping it when the failure occurred .

Shower grab bar
This shower bar attached easily and appears to be secure. However, it would be better if there were an indicator window which is green when the bar suction is fully engaged with the shower wall and red which cautions that the suction is NOT fully engaged. I have one like that and it is an added sense of safety to check when getting into the shower. Otherwise this appears to have a substantial grip.

No need to drill holes in your tiled walls
These are the best alternative to drilling holes in your shower tiles. The suction is the best and there are extremely sturdy. If you have a smooth wall surface they work perfectly just make sure they don’t hit any grout lines.

A replacement for an Oxy that lasted five years. Isn't 5 years pretty good?
I should start this with the last paragraph where I've already given this five stars, told you how to apply this bar in 5-10 seconds, and why I'm getting anothe, the shorter one. If you want to read about my history with shower (or bath) grab bars, be my guest...About 10 years ago, I started to have poblems with balance. It was bad enough when I was out hiking, but I soon became concerned about slipping and/or falling in the shower. I bought a suction grab bar made by Oxy (?) and after five years it began to slip in its position on the shower wall, and last spring it started to fall off at least once a week. Seems to have good suction, but two weeks ago, I took a good look at it off the wall. The suction pads had cracked and I knew I needed a new suction bar. When I need something like this poduct which has been around 50 years, I look at what's available on Amazon. After 22 years of reading (and writing reviews), I've learned to read the one star first, and then the five star. Very often, I toss out all of the one star. A review based on the customer's carelessness is ridiculous. And those reviews with one stars because the product came damaged or "didn't work as expected" are of little value. I look at four star reviews as most reliable. That said, I'm giving this shower bar five stars! Our shower is a "one-piece" molded kind. We have no tiles and, therefore, this bar should stick well, and it sure did. I "installed" (press two levers and the thing grips the wall, the same as all the other suction products). It stuck! Boy, did it stick. I had to get a little air under the cups in order to move it. I eyeballed where I wanted it, put it in place, and repeated the five second process. I will be very surprised it this moves, falls, or doesn't protect me when I have my klutz moment. I am so pleased, I'm ordering the shorter one for the front wall (at an angle to the left of the shower head). The color changes when you're snapping these bars into place is just a gimmick. (I don't think this one has a green or red indicator ... and neither did the one that was up for five years.) When you press the tabs, the suction cups will immediately hold if you've provided even a little pressure. Don't worry if you you need to adjust it: just lift the two little tabs and get some air under the cups ... and move it.Simple. So easy to install, I'm reluctant to use the word, "install." Moveable, but take a minute or two to decide where you want it. I put mine on at an angle because it's best if there's an angle to grab on to. Horizontal bars are fine for hanging a towel or washcloth, not so good keeping 180 pounds upright.

Very easy to use throughout the home.
I installed this on the countertop to aide my mother while stepping up from the family room to the kitchen. Very easy to use, sturdy and a great value. This has really helped her feel more confident as she ages.
