Excellent paper for fountain pens - Kokuyo Campus lined paper
This is an extremely high grade paper made in Japan, where many students still learn to write with fountain pens, and adults use them too. Thus, this Japanese paper is very affordable even for young schoolchildren. Almost all writing paper sold in the USA will absorb ink in a way that destroys the sharp lines made with liquid inks, and even bleed through to the other side. This Japanese paper is very smooth, so even writing with an extra-fine nib is effort-free with no "scratchy" feel. This paper does not allow fountain pen ink to bleed through or "feather" (spead out from where the pen nib writes.) Fortunately this fine Japanese paper costs no more than ordinary copier paper used in the USA. For calligraphy and everyday writing, this paper is an exception value for money. In my career, I had to take copious notes during meetings and lab research; using a fountain pen was almost a necessity to avoid hand cramps. I had to use high-grade lab notebooks to avoid bleed-through and feathering. Now retired, I have taken up calligraphy again, and this paper is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for Fountain Pen Writers!
I started writing with fountain pens about 8 months ago. I'm also a daily note taker, preferring to hand write notes at work because it helps me retain info a bit better. I've ben using Mead loose leaf paper but my fountain pens generally bleed through, so most of the time I can only write on one side. This paper is PERFECT for fountain pen use! No bleed through, smooth writing experience using a fine point, flex nib and medium point even with an ink that is quite wet. I know at a glance seems more expensive but if I could only use one side of the others and both sides of this, it's close to the same price in the end. I highly recommend this and will continue to use it.

Japanese quality, compatible with American supplies.
This paper is absolutely delightful. It works well with fountain pens, pencils, and everything else. It's great to have Japanese-quality paper in an American form factor.

Smooth, great paper for all writing tools
This paper is so inclusive of all writing instruments that it would probably be fired for promoting DEI. I’m definitely a fan of this paper. It’s so smooth it almost feels like velvet. Works well with pencils, ballpoint pens, fountain pens. Even helps lessen the blotchiness that comes with lower quality ballpoint pens.

The BEST paper. I have no other words besides BUY THEM. I'm a comp sci major and I'd say these have been most used in my math classes. Great for work that needs to be scanned.

Nice paper
Seems like they changed the formula a bit. It used to tolerate fountain pen ink a little bit better. While it handles it pretty well still, if you have a flexible nib or a parallel pen, there may be some feathering. Still plenty nice to write on though.
