Had a perculator for many years before it stopped brewing. Love the flavor and prefer it over a regular coffee pot. Had to order a replacement for this one because the first one was cracked. No set up required, love that you can hide most of the cord. I read lots of reviews before purchasing and people said it made a loud noise when brewing. Yes, it does but you get used to it. It’s pretty funny to listen to. I like that it has a power on/off button. I usually turn it off then rebrew half hour later for a strong cup. Would recommend and purchase again.

I’ve use another well known brand coffee machine. The last one was a duo which allowed me to make a pot of coffee or use a pod. With it, the coffee was not hot. At best it was it was Luke warm when first made and you had to put it in the microwave to get it hot. With this percolator, the coffee comes out hot, stays hot without tasting burnt! We love it! Won’t use anything else!

Hi - This is a great percolator and it has a "stay warm" feature. However, it could have burned my home down because once the coffee/water boils off, the "stay warm" feature does not turn itself off. Instead, the steel cylinder becomes super hot and can melt / ignite near by kitchen towels or kitchen wash cloths. I discovered this first hand by a lucky accident as near bye paper towels (sitting on the counter next to the percolator) were scorched brown from the heat of the cylinder. Luckily they did not ignite.Existing users - be super careful with this product. While it makes great coffee, it has a dark side.

After trying every method to make GOOD coffee, including a stovetop percolator, I decided to go electric. In addition to making super hot coffee this percolator is all stainless steel, no plastic parts, brews FAST, & makes delicious coffee BUT there are 2 negatives. I was disappointed that without paper filters the coffee grounds escape the basket & make a mess and it doesn't have an auto off which I was used too, a real fire hazard. So instead of using the great "keep warm" feature I unplug the pot immediately for safety which defeats the purpose. For me the +s win but it could be improved

Simple, old school, perculator that makes good consistent coffee.Pleased with my purchase.

Makes good coffee, convenient to take off the plate, easy to clean. But it does not automatically shut off. The button to turn it off must be depressed firmly and it’s not easy to see the light that indicates it’s on. So far I haven’t forgotten to turn it off when we leave but it’s a matter of time before that happens.

This coffee pot makes a great cup of coffee. Then it switches to the warm setting which keeps our brew hot without that burnt taste you get from others. The pot lifts off the heating element so you can fill your cup at the table...or campfire!
