Bought 2 strands to use over our putting green. Loved that the bulbs were plastic and “unbreakable” just incase someone’s chipping got crazy. We installed these about 2 months ago. First we hung a cable (bought separate) and then used zip ties to attach the bistro lights to the cable, THEN we screwed in the bulbs. Unfortunately for us, 2 bulbs didn’t work. We switched them around and then the bulbs did work in a different socket, so the issue is with the actual strand and the 2 sockets. We already zip tied it up so it’s not worth the effort to redo the whole thing but disappointed we didn’t check them all prior to hanging. Also, not a dealbreaker but the bulbs never turn all the way off, even when they’re turned off. They still have a small visible light in each bulb (see pic) so again, seems like the issue is with the wiring in the strand. Otherwise, we are happy with them so far.

I absolutely LOVE these lights!! We have a covered area on our deck that isn't lit at night and I bought these to string up so we could have a party out there. They are AWESOME! Heavy duty, perfect amount of light. Enough to see well, but not be too bright. Exactly what I wanted! I was hesitant to spend this much money on a string of lights, but I'm so glad I did!!!

Love it.Could only be better if they sold replacement bulbs for this item. They list an item # but it’s not the SHATTERPROOF PLASTIC bulb that I would like, which is what came in the order.

I will be honest, I didn't expect them to be near this bright. These light up my entire back yard! The price is perfect for these. I was a bit skeptical because the last ones I purchased were color lights and those were $90. These are well worth the price. I am very happy with this and definitely would purchase again. Every light I own is LED. I am used to them but I haven't seen any that look this good and are this bright. I expected them to be about half as bright and closer to the ambiance of an Edison bulb. They are close to Edison bulbs but much brighter. I hope they last a good while. They have been in about four or five bad storms since I have had them and honestly they have held up quite well, no leaks or anything. I have nothing bad to say about these other than if you have a set of color changing bulbs these must be setup first because this and those bulbs don't have the same connectors. This is a standard plug. The color ones are more like the rope light ends but a standard plug on one end. Anyways, this worked well uou just can't turn it on and off by remote which is OK with me.

I've had these for 2 years. In the first year, I had 5 bulbs fail. I only keep the lights on about 5 hours a night. So if you do the math, it's nowhere near the 30,000 hours this seller claims. The seller sent me 5 more lights for free. During the second year, I kept them on half as much. Now I have another 8 lights that are dim or blinking. Replacement bulbs are half the price of the whole set.Bottom line is that this is cheap Chinese garbage. The claims are bogus. The quality is garbage. Where you would find such a product that's quality and made in the USA is beyond me. But don't spend $40 thinking you'll get 30,000 hours out of them. That's just a disgusting LIE! These are worth $15 at most. And that probably still gives them a profit of $14.50.

The media could not be loaded.  I have had several different types of lights in my amazon cart for months. I kept researching and finally settled on these. I couldn’t be more happy. I purchased based on reviews and a few key features. I liked that they were not glass bulbs because I was placing them around my pool. I also liked that they were LED and use such low wattage but were still bright because I wanted to light the area for night time swimming and parties. I saw pictures of them hanging from higher angles to lower poles so I assumed they would work how I planned. I put all the bulbs in and tested each light strand before hanging to make sure everything worked. It was a pain but worth it. I had to use zip ties to fold over the extra area when you connect strands(this is four strands in my backyard). I am a little OCD and I wanted the spacing all equal and when you hook them together there is extra length at the starting plug. The zip ties have worked well, it has been a month and gone through 3 pretty bad storms already. The only thing I was a little upset about was the first morning I came outside and my lights were hanging low from where they go from the deck overhang to the first pole. The hook on the light strand had broke above the first light that was attaching it to the hook on the house, it was simply too much pressure because of the angle. I took two small zip ties and placed one on each side of the broken hook to fasten to the hook on the house and it has held up perfect. I am in love with the way the pool and deck look at night now. I purchased and installed three strings of lights from this company. After about 3 or 4 weeks, I had over a dozen bulbs burned out. So, I called "customer care" and they promised to take care of it. Well, so far, they havn't done a dang thing and I'm sorry to have purchases such silly examples of exterior lights. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me three times ... shame on me. Oh the customer support rep agreed with me, "oh my goodness i'm so sorry" but nothing has been done to replace the lights. Yall suck.

I searched and searched for weeks. Read reviews, and compared features etc. These strings are built solid, heavy gauge wire, and the sockets are weatherproofing. One of the deciding factors is the lights are 1.5 Watt (compared to most @ 2 Watt). While this might not seem like a big deal, many reviewers of others comment on the lights being to bright and requiring dimming. These are slightly less bright and fantastic. The color is also great -> a nice warm light, and the bulbs are like a solid plastic resisting breakage. (others are very breakable, and when screwing into the weatherproofing sockets, you need a bit of torque, so these bulbs are a bonus. (Would have liked to see a an extra though). Overall highly recommended!

I am so happy with these lights. I love that they are LED and shatterproof, and I love that you can buy replacement bulbs. They were easy to install and we had them all spaced out and screwed in along our pergola within an hour. The light is nice and warm. Not too bright, but not too dim.My one critique is that the lights are 3 feet apart. I'd rather them be 2 feet apart.We live in Manitoba and have very cold winters. I will update this review when they make it through a winter or two. We plan to leave them up year round.

Update : 3 months later still working .. I have them on a timer nightly from dusk to midnight. No issues. Had a few snow and rain storms. Not a flicker. Absolutely LOVE!At first only one light worked then realized you have to screw the bulb in quite a bit. Viola then all worked - took a few tries. The bulbs are really nice almost lighting like having candles or torches lit. Really nice. Will see about durability. It’s winter and we put them around the hot tub area. Stay tuned.

My wife and I bought these lights to hang in our back patio, to enjoy evenings with friends when it’s a touch to dark out. Playing cards, having coffee or just chatting.The pack came and went up without issue. The light provided is a very nice soft yellow-ish light, it’s very cozy.. my wife and I love how it just makes the back yard feel.. so why the disappointment? We got these lights in July, since that time due to work obligations we haven’t had a lot of chance to use these.. for LED I would expect the lights to have some lasting power.. to date, we have run the lights less then 12 hours and already have at least 5 burnt out bulbs.. to say that upsets me is why I’ve given these the rating I have. I would be fine if they lasted a hundred hours at least, but less then 12 (in some cases less then 4) leaves me saddened..

I purchased these as they had good reviews but I noticed after having mine up for a couple months the bulbs are filling up with water. Also three bulbs quit working already. probally because of the water. Then lights are beautiful but a little concerned about the safety of these lights. Apparently they are not water proof as they mention. Most of the bulbs on my string are almost half full with water. Although they are nice and bright I would not purchase another set for this reason.
