I couldn't be happier with this product! Over the past year I have noticed that any sort of stress and anxiety in my life has caused me to begin grinding my teeth while sleeping. When I talked to my dentist about options he recommended a night guard and at the time I wasn't willing to shell out $200+ for one made by my dentist. So began my search to find a cheaper option and lucky for me I stumbled upon the Protect the Crown Night Guard, and it has made a world of difference! No more unbearable jaw pain when I wake up, the product quality is amazing for the price, and the molding instructions are very helpful. The KEY to molding this product is lining the inside of the night guard with rolled up wet paper towel because it keeps the night guard walls from caving in on themselves when microwaving. And if you do not get the perfect fit the first time, continue the molding process until you do. A perfect mold is important to insure that night guard works properly. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone suffering from similar grinding issues!

I’ve tried many mouth guards and this one has been the best one. I can’t afford the 600$ one from the dentist but I grind my teeth bad while I sleep. This one is easy to mold to your teeth, came with a nice case that hasn’t broken, I never spit it out in my sleep, and it’s not as big as some of the other ones so it fits nicely without having to cut it, it’s comfortable in my mouth and doesn’t hurt my gums. I’d continue to buy this one (plus it’s cute and pink).

Bite gently when forming the guard to your teeth! My mistake was biting down fully and this made for a poor fit on the first try, too much material between my bite made it feel like my bottom teeth were being pushed. When I tried refitting I didn’t do a very good job and ended up basically destroying the guard. Thankfully there was another one in the package. My first fitting on that one was better though still needed adjusting, by the second molding on that one it was a great fit and is extremely comfortable. I recently bought a $450 replacement night guard from my dentist (I’ve always gotten them from the dentist) that I can’t wear because the lab did such a poor job making the guard and the dentist couldn’t successfully adjust it after 3 different attempts. So by comparison this product was a great price, easy to adjust, and I will be buying this again rather than wasting an absurd amount of money with the dentist!

The thickness in the front is unnecessary and needs to be thick and more in the back. The price robbery for the simple fact it does not work. The sides cave in easily and the thick front is impossible to get to a molding state. The size is too small for my mouth. It’s length was a good 2 wisdom teeth off. It it is not wide is not nearly wide enough. Bc the length and it being to thin I only tried one and gave up. It’s impossible to do alone and it just does not fit. I can’t tell you if it had any effect on my nose as I could make it yo use it. I don’t care about the case or any of the cosmetics. I bought it for less nasty chemicals. I think they put their effort in the cosmetics than making a quality product. The price is a total rip off and I am very upset about their return policy. I wasn’t given an option to return it and I could not find how to reach them directly. Life got busy and I had to another and no one has time to deal with constant 3rd party arguing that can go on for days and then have to go back to Amazon etc etc. Save yourself the trouble. It’s not worth how quickly this can mess up and the process to heat it, terrible. I’ll try to add a photo of this product and my mouth price I’m using now. Thickness, size etc I would now but it won’t up load.

This is a great night guard and an incredible value for the money. My first night guard was expensive and I bought it through my dentist. This one is much better than that one and much less expensive. My 2nd night guard I bought on Amazon and it lasted awhile but did not fit as well as the Protect the Crown (PTC) so I was looking for something a little more substancial and reading about the PTC, I thought I would give it a try. It was easy to mold to my teeth. I did it wrong the first time, didn't line it up right with my front two teeth, but it was so easy to put it back in the microwave and the second time it was perfect. Last night I used it for the first time and it was almost like I wasn't using a night guard. I can't say the same for the first two. I would recommend to anyone purchasing this to be patient, follow the directions and keep at it until you have a perfect fit. It is also nice that they give you two of them. I only use a night guard on my top teeth and it is nice to have a spare in case I lose it traveling or whatever which is what happened to the 2nd one.

It seems like good material and I like the case it comes with but its extremely difficult to trim down and I have a very sensitive gag reflex so its really difficult to get the right fit. I also notice I am still applying pressure and clinching my jaw laying down this may provide a thin layer of absorption from the pressure but doesn't really seem like its working out for me. Sucks because i was really optimistic by other reviews and dont want to pay $800 at the dentist for something like this.

These are tough relatively cheap and will save you from grinding your teeth to nubs. A lot cheaper the the DDS!

I grind my teeth so bad that sometimes I wake up my partner. I started experiencing some sensitivity in my teeth that was causing pain and a trip to the dentist determined the cause was actually the grinding. Since I had no cavities or any issues my dentist recommended a guard, but through them it’s like $500 out of pocket. I came here and read the good reviews and decided to try! It’s so easy to mold and comes with two just in case anything happens. It’s comfortable compared to some other guards I’ve tried. Sometimes my jaw does hurt from the clenching with it in, since I’m not used to it. You can definitely feel there’s a guard and it’s not an expensive fitted one, but my jaw feels so much better when I wake up and my sensitivity is gone!

I’ve had a guard that was made for me at my local dental office and everything about it is terrible. - The process to get a mould of your teeth - The length of time it take for them to make it - The bulky, rigid, sorry excuse of a mouth guard you end up with - The material it’s made of… I used it for 3–6 months until it started causing me pain in a tooth I’d never had pain in before. I even stopped using it to see if it was the guard or something else and guess what? It was the guard. I went without a guard for a while until I noticed a small hole in my tooth I had previously (from grinding my teeth) appeared to be slightly larger. I remembered one of my co-workers mentioning searching on Amazon for a cheap guard you do yourself. I didn’t even know that was an option at the time lol. I’ve looked at a few brands and read many reviews. I was initially going to buy another brand’s guard but one of the reviews directed me here saying this one was better. And it’s fantastic. - Very quick and easy to mould to your teeth; it takes maybe 2 minutes altogether - It’s not as bulky as a guard from the dentist; as you mould it to your teeth you create a vacuum in your mouth and it moulds perfectly - It comes with 2 guards, and you can remould them as many times as you need, making the price infinitely superior - The material has a slight chewiness too it, which I love because it doesn’t press into my teeth like the one from the dentist did I’m sure similar products here on Amazon work just as well, but I know for a fact this brand’s mouth guards are perrrrrrfect. I’ve been using them for the past week and felt compelled to leave a review because of how good they are! These guards should honestly cost more than one from the dentist cuz they’re soooooooo much better imo. You won’t regret buying these. …even if you do, Amazon lets you return nearly anything hassle free. Give ‘em a try and find out for yourself :)

Finally a mouth guard that works! This one finally stopped my teeth grinding in it's tracks. Anyone who has grinding issues needs this mouth guard ASAP

So per the title, the final product is amazing, one of the only mouth guards I can talk properly with and I don't have to immediately remove in the morning. However I definitely messed up my first one while learning how to form it, managed to form my second one though, but it is a long tedious process of warming up and forming over and over until it fits perfectly.

This is the real deal! Don't waste your money on the others...this is easy to use and it fits like a glove in the mouth.

Does the job that’s for sure, won’t be getting one from the dentist office because this works and it’s cheap
