I recently tried the Guarana Lollipop with Bubble Gum and I was pleasantly surprised by its tangy taste. I love bonbon bum power since I tried. I like flavor and the gum is my favorite part of every bonbon bum I used to buy bon bon bum when my kids were little,know I bought for me definitely, this are favorite my lollipops !!

This is a review of “Colombina Bon Bon Bum Power Pack - Energizing Lollipops with Guarana Extract and Bubble Gum Center for Kids and Adults … (12 Oz Per Bag - 1pck).”Made in Columbia, each sucker contains .52 mg of caffeine as a part of the guarana extract. To contrast, a chocolate bar has about 9 mg. So in the large scheme of things, the caffeine is a non-issue though I appreciate that the label alerts us to its presence. Guarana contains other chemicals which are similar to caffeine. Be aware of this if you’re giving these to kids.Each bag contains 20 pops. Based on the cost at the time of my order (around $10) that averages to be about $.50 a pop. I really like the flavors of these pops. They are rich, tart and not too sweet. In contrast, the gum inside is just a standard very-sweet bubblegum flavor. The pops are colored with red #40 and blue #1. My mouth, lips, tongue and gums turned very blue after eating just one sucker.

My teens loved the flavor. Bought for my sons birthday and now we buy one every other week! Extremely tasteful and different.

This is a somewhat odd candy. It’s a lollipop with a gum center but the main draw is that it contains guarana, an herb known as a stimulant. The amount of guarana is supposedly only 0.05%. The bag states that each serving contains “0,52” mg of caffeine. Is that supposed to be 0.52 or 52? The average cup of coffee can have anywhere from 65 to 175 milligrams. There is also a warning on the bag that you shouldn’t give lollipops to kids under 6 due to a possible choking hazard. There is another warning though which is extremely hard to even notice that says the product is not recommended for children under 18, pregnant or nursing women, or people sensitive to caffeine. Out of curiosity I went to the manufacturer’s website where it states, “with 0.55 mg of caffeine per lollipop (3mg/100g).” Since each lollipop is only 17g I’m guessing the amount of caffeine is negligible. I certainly didn’t feel anything.The lollipops are an attractive artificially colored red and blue. As for the taste, the bag indicates they are guarana flavored. I don’t know what guarana tastes like but to me, the lollipops had a kind of cherry bubblegum flavor. The gum in the center of the lollipop is nice and chewy and while I also liked the taste, the flavor didn’t last long. One thing about the gum though is that it’s not perfectly round or smooth. As a result, it starts protruding from the candy portion the more you lick it. Since the gum is not all the soft, you can really feel it scraping your tongue as you continue to lick the lollipop. I loved these and so did my whole family. They are delicious and energizing - highly recommend.
