I've been using this for nearly a year now. It is a lightweight serum that I sometimes pair with my moisturizer, but also use alone. It has given my skin a smooth texture and brightness. I feel it gives my skin the anti-aging I aim for without the intense acids or chemicals. I'll definitely keep using it as long as it's produced.

I’ve been using the entire Cetaphil Healthy Renew line for about a year now, and while I’m pleased with all the products, this face serum is hands down my favorite. As someone who can’t use retinol, finding an effective alternative that actually delivers results has been game-changing for my skincare routine. The lightweight texture means I can use it twice daily without any issues. Perfect for sensitive skin: I have sensitive skin, and this serum has never caused any irritation, redness, or reactions. It’s fragrance-free, which I appreciate since added fragrances often trigger sensitivity for me. The formula is gentle enough for daily use - even twice daily - while still being effective. How it fits into the Healthy Renew system: While I’m happy with all the products in this line, the serum is what I notice the most difference from. Worth noting: Like any quality skincare product, this requires consistency and patience. The improvements I’ve seen didn’t happen overnight - it took several months of regular use to really notice the difference. But the results have been worth the commitment. The 1 oz bottle may seem small, but because you only need a few drops per application, it lasts longer than you’d expect. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a retinol alternative that is cost effective and that’s gentle on sensitive skin but still delivers visible anti-aging results, this serum is worth trying. After a year of using it twice daily, I can confidently say it’s made a significant difference in my skin. It’s become my must-have product from the entire Healthy Renew line.

❤4.5 Stars previously but updating to 5 stars because after finishing this serum I did repurchase during the spring sale because I love the results so far and my skin looks significantly better: smoother, healthier, plump, radiant, and glowy. My 5yo daughter said "Mommy, why is your skin so shiny" lol... I have not used retinol in 2 weeks because I ran out and have been researching for a new one. I continued to use this product consistently however and can confidently credit this product for some of my skin's improvement. Was happy to be able to repurchase during a sale and am now subsribed to recieve it regularly. I previously complained about the price because my actives are the same price and I couldn't really justify the price for a product that isn't really a staple like Vit C or Retinol BUT again, I do appreciate the delivery, the design, the ingredients, and the results. This is gentle enough to use on 'repair day/ night' of my skin cycling routine. I find it soothing and hydrating, and it layers well with other products. I love that it pairs well with my sunscreen too so I can definitely wear it during the day; unlike some products that begin to beed up when you put your sunscreen over it. I love the design and delivery but I wonder if those add a lot to the price. Maybe I shouldn't complain as I would not want to see either aspect changed. I already use other somewhat pricey actives that are a must (Vitamin C & Retinol) so it would be great if this product were a little more affordable since it's not a skincare staple (yet?). I would like to repurchase, but I'd also like to see the price come down. I would like to continue to have this as part of my skin cycling routine though so I hope it's not one of those products that gets discontinued. I do think it will last me a while since I am currently using it at a rate of 2 days and 2 night per week. I am using other powerful actives and currently have no wrinkles or fine lines so it's hard to say yet if I have had a reduction in those things due to this product, but I do credit it as a great preventative. (Actually I do have a line trying to form on my forehead near my hairline, and I have noticed a difference since using this for 4 weeks now) Overall, I would probably repurchase while staying on the lookout for deals on it. A good deal every once in a while and I would definitely repurchase.

Seems to hydrate skin well. Have not used long enough to see any big changes but it does soften the skin and keeps it hydrated through the day.

Several months ago, I started with an acute reaction to soaps that I was using. I stopped using the wash that I had. had used several face washes to see if my skin would improve , and it did not. my face started itching. so I stopped all of that and went through the gambit of lotions and for the face and nothing helped. Till I found cetaphil & started with face wash twice a day& the gel morning & night.. As you can see in the pictures , now my face feels like silk. I use a small amount of the gel , lip gloss & brow enhancer. It’s lightweight, non- greasy. And just amazing.

So far used half a bottle. liking it and seeing results enough so i just got a second bottle for after this one! you dont always see much from serums, this one actually has impressed me. im 32. i see a difference in radiance, and a nice smooth hydrated kind of look. it has no smell, i use two pumps to cover my face and neck. tbh it doesnt go that far but its a product that is doing something so its worth it. i put it on twice a day and it lays great under my sunscreen and foundation in the am and pm goes fine with my moisturizer. no pilling. has just made my face look refreshed and ill keep using it.

Budget-friendly yet high-quality product to start anti-aging early. Since using it, I get more compliments on my complexion. Leaving you glowy, feeling moisturized, and not heavyweight. Just wish they had a bigger size.
