Easy to install and essential alarm to have in everybody’s home.

well made, easy to install and does work well, as imoke from the hobt went off when pasta water boiled over and caused smoke from the hob. Hasn't gone off for no reason yet. Easy to test button, and red active light that blinks every 40 seconds to confirm it is working. So all good so far

Purchased recently to replace our detectors. A good buy with a 10 year guarantee so won’t have to change probably in our lifetime. In testing found detected smoke very quickly and siren necessarily easy to hear. They are really sturdy and very easy to install. Would buy again. Good value for money

Just replaced the last one we had with this identical one. Last one lasted 7 years, not quite the 10 years as promised on the box, but still happy with it, especially as the new one fits the older ones bracket. Would have given it 5 stars but for the battery not lasting. Definitely recommend one though.

Very happy with the product. Easy to activate by connecting it to the main plate. I think some comments were because people didn't read instruction, so they believed that they received the product which doesn't work. The point is that alarm has to be activated. What has lots of sense. I have the same model in our rooms which were connected by fire brigade and one of them got faulty after 8 years, which I think it's not bad. I hope replacement will work for many years too.

Works perfectly. Looks good quality. It replaces an existing one that lasted 5 years. Batteries NOT replaceable.

My old smoke alarms had 10-year batteries and had started to chirp recently, warning of low battery levels after around a decade of use. I looked around carefully and decided to buy these ones as replacements, helped by their recommendation as a ‘best buy’ in Which magazine. They were a doddle to fit, requiring only that a plastic base be srewed to the fitting surface, then the alarms are placed onto them. The fitting activates the alarm and that’s it – done. There’s a faint reg light on each and the test button sounds when pressed, so within a short time everything was sorted. Each alarm had a small sticker underneath which stated when the installed battery would need to be replaced. It was September 2035 on both which offers some reassurance to me. The instructions were clear, and the devices are well made with the appropriate screws and (basic) wall plugs supplied too. I would happily order more if needed.
