Nice replacement for dim trunk light
Installed in a 2018 Kia Forte. When the package came, I guess I thought it would be larger. It is a small box. The first few pictures compares the size to a few quarters. While the whole package is small, it provides decent light for the trunk. There are no instructions but, it is not too complicated to figure out if you can replace a lightbulb. Here are a few technical details about the product:The strip is about 19.5" inches long. About half way down the strip is a soldered-on pigtail at the 10" mark. The pigtail is about 2.5" inches long. There are 30 LED's on the strip (specified in the product description as well). They are of the 5050 SMD design. LED strip has foam-based sticky tape for better cohesion (as opposed to normal LED strips). The kit comes with two connectors and an extension wire.Festoon type spring load plug and pin type plug. Connectors are 2.5" inches long.Extension wire is 12" long. The festoon bulb is what I had and used the festoon connector. The LED strip is polarity-sensitive, so test which direction the festoon connector should go in.In my case, the existing light was in the center of the trunk, so did not need the extension wire. Everything tucked up into the light socket area when I replaced it. One note of caution, when sticking the tape to the underside of the trunk, don't get it too close to the hole where the existing light facility slides back in, or it could be impacted.I tested the strip prior to install to make sure everything worked (someone noted earlier they had a few of the LEDs not working, in my case everything worked fine). The tape on the LED strip is foam based 3M (at least as labelled) tape. When installed, had good adhesion (unlike traditional LED strips with the paper-think sticky tape). I don't expect this to fail anytime soon. The results were fantastic. As can be seen in the pictures, before and after shots are dramatic (well, maybe that's overkill, but it was pretty cool). This was a great value, and easy project to do. I would recommend to anyone that has a dim trunk light.

Lights up my trunk nicely but could have some other features.
Easy to install, but the adhesive it came with didn’t stick, I made sure to wipe down the entire area with alcohol to make sure it was clean first. Didn’t make a difference. I had some heavy duty double stick tape so I cut a long strip and stuck it to the light bar and then attached it to the ceiling of the trunk, it’s been working fine since.I would have preferred if it was a splitter instead of losing one of the OEM lights, so I might so back and splice a second connector line to it from the spare part they gave. Another nice feature would have been an on/off switch in case I don’t want to advertise everything in my trunk if I’m not in a nice neighborhood and have things I don’t want stolen.I’m currently looking for a low cost 12v switch to make my own upgrade.

Super dooper for the price | Suggest sealant to help permanent stick
Bought these things for my truck, and after the wiring (typical stuff) from the regular trunk light, these babies really light up the trunk big time. I don't use the feature, but you can actually control portions of the strip to put out more and less light, by pushing down on indicators in the strip. One thing I highly suggest is using some clear GE silicone or other quality long-lasting sealer under portions of the strip. If the strip comes loose at the ends or in places, it doesn't re-stick back as well. Liked these so much I got my friend a strip for his truck. We'll use the sealant there - took me a first try to learn.

Wiring sucks!!!! But lights are pretty good and so is the adhesive.
Thankfully Im an Electrician so i was able to modify the cable a bit.Used it to put more light in the trunk of my car and i can see Everything in my truck!! Pretty good lights for the price. Just be prepared to do some modifications lol.

Like Repo Man
Needed a better light than my factory trunk light for deliveries at night. Was teferred to this product by another Amazon Flex driver and it's been a good purchase. Easy to install in my 2015 Ford Fusion. Just popped the plastic lens off and popped the bulb out. In its place you put the white plastic capped wire piece where the bulb was and then attach to the light strip. Popped the lens back into the trunk lid and attached the strip for even lighting in the trunk. So far so good...its super bright and makes deliveries so much easier to see. Good buy for the price. We'll see how long it lasts.UPDATE: May 15, light atoped working about 2 weeks ago. finally had a chance to look at it. one of the wires came undone from the strip and I dont or not gonna waste my time trying to have it re-sodered back on. The wiring is think and jenky, so you get what you pay for. it was great while it lasted 2 months.

Nice & Bright LED Trunk Light
If you're decent with the most basic of simple electronics, it shouldn't be hard to install. Fits like a dream into my 2020 Subaru Outback. The LED light unit comes with two different plug-in adapters and one x extension cable if you need more wire length. Brightness is exceptional with the 30 x LED lights. I didn't give a ☆ grade on the adhesive yet, since I just installed it today, 9.10.2020. If it fails, then I will update this review. Note: before installing the light strip with its adhesive, I ensured to wipe the interior surface with IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) to ensure it properly sticks to the surface, so, we'll see how it does. Looking at ordering another unit for my lady's 2020 Outback as well. Update 2.23.2021: The last set I purchased was last year, October 2020. This particular light set (in attached photo) has had multiple individual LED light go out; this is unsatisfactory, hence, I have changed my 5 star rating to a now 3 star rating. I am pretty disappointed!

Easy install. Works as described.
Really bright and way better than the oem lights for the trunk of my Mustang.
