I tested this against my original 2.5AH, 80v green works battery on my chainsaw.The 2.5 AH would cut 8" logs for about 15 minutes before dying. The amount of torque was also not as good as this battery provided.Using the 6AH battery I got a full 45 minutes of cutting 8" logs with MUCH more torque and less bogging.This battery is great. Whether it lasts time will tell but so far VERY impressed.BTW, be careful , there are people trying to pass 8AH batteries that are actually this battery!$154.00, for a supposed 8AH battery that has the same part number, weight (5.1lbs) and size as the 6 AH battery bought here. See picture. Same part number but the battery on the left falsely shows 8AH!

This is listed as a 6AH battery. It performs worse than the original 1AH battery that came with my mower. To test I put this head to head with the Greeworks 1AH battery. Started with both 100% charged and loaded this battery into my backpack blower, started a timer and set the blower’s cruise control to 100%. This battery ran for 16 minutes and 25 seconds. Repeated the test with the Greenworks 1AH battery (that has been used to power my mower all summer). The Greenworks battery ran for 18 minutes and 8 seconds. So either I received a defective battery (I’m outside the return window) or this is true garbage and should be avoided. If the seller or manufacturer believes it is defective contact me and we will exchange and re-evaluate.

The original battery did not function properly. The company solved the problem immediately and provided a new battery. I highly recommend this seller on Amazon.

Its a shame it didn't fit. The service was excellent to get it out the door fast, but I need to return it and find another solution.The slide guides on the sides of the battery was so close. Someone should create a universal mount for these things.I paid over $500 for the Kobalt mower at lowes that never had to replace the battery till now. Nobody has them so the "out of stock" price is $400 for one. This seams like a nice quality battery and while I'd be inclined myself to retrofit it by taking a router down a guide, my wife threatened that she wouldn't use the mower if I tried to do that. You know who won out there...It's got to go back.

Powers both my 80v Greenworks snow thrower and chainsaw. Charges on my Greenworks charger without a problem. Just had it for a couple of hours but will put it through a full test tomorrow.I’ve had the battery for a few months now without any problems. Powers my Greenworks 18 in chainsaw, my snow thrower and my electrical inverter. Will probably buy a second one. No noise when charging. I’m happy with it.

Worked great for four months. Battery was never left idle, it was on the leaf blower or on charge all the time. Now it will not hold a charge.

Wanting a third battery for my 80V Pro mower I purchased this 6Ah Batt. The mower came with 2 of the 4Ah batts. This aftermarket battery charged up normally on the OEM charger and showed a full charge. (left it overnight). When inserted on the mower it showed a 3/4 charge. When the mower starts it then shuts off after 3 seconds. Clearly there is a problem in the battery firmware with the mower. Interesting, this 6Ah batt is 11 oz less heavy than the OEM 4Ah battery, see the pictures on a postal scale. Sent it back and will be looking at other options.
