We've had the mixing bowls for a few months now. The bowls themselves are nice. Our other mixing bowls kinda stack in with these new ones. The silicone bottom is nice at times and other times it's not, like when you want to slide it on your countertop. It's not really a complaint, just not used to it. I like that the bowls each have their own lid. I just wish they fit better. They are a harder plastic. You can store other items on top of these bowls when they're in the fridge. I don't feel the lids seal 100%, but maybe they weren't meant to.

Lightweight, sturdy. Look good and neat well for storage. Tacky bottom is nice for stability when using. Lids take a little getting used too, but seem like they’ll last a long while.

Rubber bottom keep the bowls from sliding on the counter when mixing. The measuring lines are nice too.

Seems very well made. Sturdy heavy stainless. Inside is polished. Nice wide rim is easy to hold. The lids work well. They do seal and will generally hold liquid. I like how they nest so efficiently. The big one is the perfect addition beyond what other sets offered.

I ordered a different set of SS steel bowls with lids (and a bunch of other plastic kitchen utensils I did not need) and returned them because the walls were too thin. When I used the biggest bowl in that set, the bottom started flexing when I pressed on it. They were molded with a domed bottom to compensate for the thinness, but they were way too flimsy. My 30+ year old SS bowl set was much thicker walled, but even for that set, the biggest bowl started having the bottom pop up and down because it was just a little too thin. These bowls hit the right mark as far as I am concerted. They are very sturdy and have silicone on the bottom to keep my counters from getting marred. The silicone also helps keep the bowl steady when whisking, etc. A set of SS bowls will last a lifetime, so a little extra on the front end is well worth it. The other reason I like this set is that the largest bowl is 8qt, which I need for bread rising and other large tasks. A five quart bowl is typical for the largest in other sets, but that is not that big of a bowl. The lids are plastic, so they won't last forever, but are a nice feature while they do. Very happy with the set.

Sturdy bowls, silicone bottoms help them keep steady with no clanking, lots of sizes, lids fit tightly, they all nest inside the biggest bowl so don’t take up too much space. You can get cheaper sets but they skimp on one or more of the above. A great buy for the serious home cook.
