I bought this life vest for my 18 month old for our holiday for some extra peace of mind around swimming pools. The quality of the product is really excellent, and I will say more about this later in my review, but at the risk of being a little controversial, I’m not sure it was that essential for us. It may well be for other families.My daughter was the only child on our family holiday, so we never took our eyes off her. She also never went in the water alone. So to be honest, we rarely used it. It was an extra piece of gear in hot weather, which she didn’t need. Moreover, she goes to baby/toddler swimming lessons at home, where she doesn’t use a life vest, and so it was actually a bit of an adjustment for her. If I could do things over again, I probably would have saved my money.That being said, I can completely appreciate its value for an older child, or in other family circumstances. The aesthetic is really lovely, it’s a good fit, not too big, not too small and also isn’t super bulky. If my daughter were more independent, I think she’d be quite comfortable and happy swimming about in it.It’s a little bulky in the suitcase, but not awful. It also washes easily and well, which is an added bonus.Happy Nappy quality performs once again, and at a reasonable price.

I ordered x2 vests of different ages as I was worried about size. Turns out the age references are just guidance, my son is 2 but is only just 11kg so is only just heavy enough to wear the age 1-2 jacket. Looks like if your child is under 11kg then they can’t wear them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Got this kids swim vest for our daughter to help on Holidays when she gets tired from swimming all day. Helped keep her afloat and is a lovely design and colour.

Perfect for the holiday up and coming we tested it at our local swimming pool, was easy and comfy for my little one. Highly recommend

Easy to use and value for money, good fit for a 4 year old

My toddler doesn’t like to be held in the water so we bought this to give her a little more freedom. She learnt how to stay afloat fairly quickly and after kicking around a lot she stated to learn to move around. It’s given her so much more freedom and has been great for her!My little girl is 2.5 and a very average build, it fits perfectly.

My daughter was not fussed on the life coat and prefers armbands. At 14 months it seemed to tip her back a little bit, however it does the job of keeping her a float. Pattern very pretty

3 year old can actually swim by himself with this. Not recommended for that but it works!

This came on a trip with us for my toddler to the Bahamas where we were literally spending 4 days straight in the water and it was perfect! He felt comfortable in it, was easy to use and travel with (compacted/thin to put in the back of our backpack carry on). Super adorable and fit my son the best - he is around 33/34" and just under 30lbs.

My child loved, even when got to small she wanted to wear before the others we bought that actually fit. Donated to next kid we came across and she loved it as well. Very light weight and effective.
