Clarks Women's Evianna Peal Flat

Some of the reviews made me afraid these shoes would be too tight. But these fit exactly as I hoped! Nothing rubs, my arch feels really well-supported. and they are so pretty: mary-jane-ish but way more flattering to bigger, wider feet. I wanted a low-heeled shoe with a big toe box because I've been having some issues with my toes (sensitivity and numbness) and my feet swell a bit, and these looked like they would fit the bill and be nice looking. Before kids I was a 9, but after kids 9.5, and for the last 5 years 10's seemed the best way to go in store or online. If anything the heel feels a tad loose (length), but the width and toe feel is perfect--even with socks! Love them!

I have pretty much given up buying any shoes that aren't Clarks. I have never owned a pair of Clarks I didn't like. These, as expected, fit perfectly and are incredibly comfortable. What I like most is how versatile they are. Cute and stylish, the black ones seem a little "dressier" (I have other Clarks MaryJane style shoes in other colors in similar but slightly different styles). They work equally well with a pair of shorts (bare-legged), jeans, or... for those occasions when I might want to "dress up" a little more (for me, that excludes heels no matter what I am wearing), they also look fine with a skirt or sundress. If I ever had occasion to look more "business-like," I would have no hesitatation to wear these with a suit, either. Thanks, Clarks.

The shoes are ok, but I didn't notice when I ordered them that they fastened with velcro on the straps. I was expecting elastic, but that is my fault, not the shoe manufacturer's. However the problem with velcro rather than elastic, is if your feet swell any at all-- to be expected in this summer heat, then the strap cuts into your foot and makes it a lot less comfortable. That is why I only wear them a couple of hours at a time. They also are not really a comfortable walking shoe. Velcro fastening on shoes is good for people who might have issues when it comes to fine fingering, but it has it's problems.They do look nice though so although I thought of giving them a 3, I finally decided on 3.5 stars.

I am new to the Clark's brand but so far have liked what I have purchased prior to this shoe. I like this one too and will keep it but hope that the part where the strap is will soften and stretch a bit. That part is too narrow for my wide foot/feet. (ordered this in a wide). Even with the velcro tab adjustability it's still tight. Plenty of room in the toe box so that's one less concern. Not a super supportive shoe/sandal but comfortable enough and really fits well...other than the narrow portion.

i have such a bad back that i cannot wear the cute flats that everyone else prances around in all day; generally speaking, i wear my asics everywhere, but i i feel so clunky and out of style all the time. when i saw these clark's shoes (love clark's and have for years), i couldn't wait to try them. they are maybe a tad wide, but otherwise fit like a dream. good support. i can wear these without having major back issues and....THEY ARE SO CUTE! these are really too brownish to be called "red", but that's ok; i have a pair in brown as well, and they are definitely different colors. i can't wait to wear these to the museum this weekend...comfortable can be stylish if you look long enough!

I always take a 6.5 in Clark's shoes. I ordered these in 6.5. When I received them the box said 6.5. I don't know what made me check the size printed inside the shoe but both said 7. I'm glad they were 7, cuz the 6.5 would have been small. I've never known Clark's shoes to be inconsistent in size. That said, I'm very happy with the shoes! They fit perfectly, I can wear them right out of the box, and with all the strappy detail over the toe box they are very cute flats. Will go well with everything from jeans to skirts. The velcro makes it easy to get in and out. And the red is a true red. I don't know who put the wrong size in this box but I'm glad they did - the take-away message is order 1/2 size up. Love my shoes, I always love Clark's!

I'm so disappointed. I have a pair of Clarks shoes that are the same size and fit entirely differently, and did from the start. Those Clarks are SOOO comfortable, I just look forward to slipping my feet into them. These shoes are not even close to comfortable. These are just not as wide or as big as the other 9.5 Clarks that I have. I have to have comfortable shoes for my work; if I wanted uncomfortable shoes, I would have ordered some heels. They feel tight on the top of my foot, which I have never experienced with ANY shoe brand in the past. I don't know if these are a fluke, and sized wrong, or what. I have not had any problems with similar styles in other brands. I have Alegria shoes that are super comfortable and fit perfectly every time. There's no "breaking in time" and it's possible these Clarks would benefit from a "breaking in" but I don't have the time for that and it's just not worth the blisters to see IF they might feel better after breaking them in.

I'm a teacher and on my feet all day. I don't like to wear cross-trainers to school. Clarks are good walking shoes, well made with adequate support (perhaps not great); I like that they hug the upper part of my foot and don't slide around. They are nice looking walking shoes, I have 5 pairs.They run a bit small, once you find your size--for me, about a half size up--sizing is consistent. Prices on Amazon are far below what a Clarks store charges.

Parfait

We had previously purchased this exact shoe model and size and were very happy with it. After much searching we were able to find the same shoe on-line. Upon arrival, even though the shoe was marked with the same size and the one we had previously purchased, it was considerable too small. Since it is a cross border purchase returning the item is difficult and the ability to reclaim the duty paid is questionable.
