The Manfrotto Manhattan camera and laptop Speedy 10 Messenger is perfect for city commuters and people who are always on the move with their photography kit. Thanks to its internal branded removable insert, the Speedy 10 Messenger can fit a premium mirror less camera (Compact System Camera) like a Sony A7 or Fujifilm XT series with standard zoom lens attached plus two additional lenses, or an entry level DSLR like a Nikon D3400 or Canon EOS 1300D with lens attached plus two additional lenses. The new Flexy Camera Shell, an innovative protection system engineered by Manfrotto, enables you to easily turn your bag into a DSLR or CSC holder. With its red flexi dividers you can configure your bag to suit your photographic needs! The Speedy 10 also fits a 12” laptop or iPad Pro 12.9”. It is also equipped with a stabilization strap that allows you to easily travel by bicycle with the peace of mind that your gear will remain in place without any risks. By connecting it to the movable shoulder pad, you will have the full function of this feature. However, if you need the useful smart sleeve for your trolley you can attach the strap to the back part of your bag. But you will take advantage of your bag for any single need. If you want to take your tripod with you, secure it with the Never Lose tripod flap by just unzipping the pocket on the coated bottom section of the bag. Just connect it to the front buckles and you are ready to go. You will never miss a moment thanks to the quick zippered opening positioned on the top; open the zip, take out your camera and enjoy the shot! If you don’t need to take your gear with you, by removing the internal pouch you can use your messenger bag as an everyday media bag. All external fabric is treated making it water repellent and a rain protector is also supplied just in case of adverse weather conditions.

OK Quality, but Design Problems
The size of this bag is not quite right for my needs, but your needs might differ. However, there are two design issues that make the bag difficult to use. First, the top flap is secured only by velcro. Since there is no zipper or closure across the top of the main compartment, there is a big risk of spilling everything out if the bag tips over. Secondly, the claim that there is a trolley strap on this bag is misleading. There is a “chest strap” that attaches across the bottom back of the bag, or optionally diagonally, However, this can NOT be configured successfully to keep the bag on an extended luggage handle. I had been counting on the trolley strap for frequent travel, so this was a major disappointment. The construction of the bag seems good, but there are too many poor design choices for me to use this bag.

It's practical!
In short:- it accommodates my massive Fuji GFX camera with the 45-100mm lens,- the bag has an "urban" look that does not attract the attention,- this is the only bag I found that opens up from the outside wall. As a result, the flap does not interfere with pulling a camera in and out of the bag. How innovative is that!?- the inner removable insert is most practical. It gives good protection to my gear and form support for the bag.- the tripod attachment feature (inserted at the bottom of the bag) is most practical.Room for improvement? Yes, the zipper pulls need to be redesigned. They keep "disappearing" inside the bag...

There are much better bags out there
This bag is "fine." It even looks "good." It is totally serviceable, and if you want a simple, no frills, understated bag, this may work for you. For me, given the price (not cheap!), I think there are much better bags out there, with more features, higher utility, and lower cost. I was not overly impressed with the materials this bag is made out of: they feel somewhat cheap. The highlights are the simple looks and the quick access top. Everything else is just okay, and for this price it better be more than okay. I think the offerings from Peak Design, Vanguard and Mindshift are much better for the cost.I ended up with the Peak Design 6L and I'm pretty happy with it.

Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for a messenger style camera bag that would allow me to rapidly change lens, batteries, cards, etc. without needing to set everything down on the ground to get at it (my experience with a backpack). The bag is rugged, seems plenty protective, and large enough for my needs. It holds my full frame DSLR w/ 24-70 lens attached plus a 70-200 zoom and a 14 mm wide angle lens. All my other accessories found a home in it as well. It also has a way to attach a tripod. It took me awhile to find this feature (look in the outside zipper area on the bottom of the bag), but it holds my tripod securely. Also, the bag closes using buckles and zippers - another review claimed that it used velcro for closures, but that is incorrect.

Well done
Traveling and hiking I like the top zipper access. Very well made.

Nice bag but weird color
The other review here that wrote about the velcro wasn't even posting his review for the correct bag. This bag doesn't have a velcro flap, it's purely a zipper top opening, no flap whatsoever. Too bad 14 people found their review helpful. This bag is perfect for me. It's 16" in length and holds all my gear which is just a mirrorless full frame and two lenses and other gadgets. There's a neat flap you can take out from the side and use for your tripod, but I use it to carry a rain jacket. The whole inside camera case can come out if and you can use the bag as a normal bag. Neat! Other wise it can hide back into a zipper area on the bottom.I was disappointed the bag didn't come in black. The color here says gray but it look kind of purple in certain light. But then again sometimes it looks totally gray. Doesn't bother me too much.
