With the mounting evidence on the negative impact of microplastics i decided that chewing on plastic all night might not be that smart, so I decided to try this product (because nothing else was available). I was pretty sure this was going to be a waste of money BUT I have to say this mouth guard is checking all the boxes. It prevents tooth to tooth contact. It stays in place. Its comfortable (after trimming per the directions). It also feels like it will last for a while (not sure yet). Regarding cleaning - i use a toothbrush to scrub it in the morning, and every 3-4 days a put a small glass ramekin filled with water in the microwave for 20 seconds and then drop the guard in the boiling water to disinfect. Very easy. I am a fan!

I love this mouth guard. It works great and no micro plastics flooding your system every night and staying with you for the rest of your life. Yes, it doesn't last as long as plastic. Of course it doesn't. It's natural, not forever plastic. It's the forever part of plastic that is so bad after all. If forms to the shape of my bite every night once it's gets wet. I trim it to fit my mouth and bite best. The back molars on one side get super sensitive if I grind too hard, so I cut that side shorter and my teeth don't meet back there while all my other teeth sit on the guard. I hope that makes sense. Some nights I grind very badly. Other nights not so much. It took getting used to at first but so does any plastic one. Each one lasts a few months for me so I buy a two pack on average every 9-10 months I think. Maybe longer. I'm super grateful these exist. I literally don't know what I'd do if they didn't. I have autoimmune issues and refuse to grind on plastic or rubber or any thing synthetic every night.

No matter how I cut it as per directions, it did not work for me. It became so hard after use that it caused sores in my mouth and on my tongue. Yes, I followed all the instructions. I had to throw my non-returnable item away along with my $30 for it. I was hoping this natural guard would've worked, but it did not. For me, it was a waste of money. I would've given it zero stars.

I maybe do a review once a year, but I didn’t buy this for a long time and this literally saved me from not only jaw surgery but joint replacement. Instead of tmj doctors making me $2.5K “torture devices”, I have a top and bottom made by choppers and switch between them depending on my jaw, and put this on top/ below the mouth guard. Yes it’s a bit gross, but it’s comforting and has saved my teeth from cracking. It’s been a miracle for me.

I have been looking for a mouth guard that wasn't made from some sort of plastic. Microplastics have been linked to heart disease and cancer so I don't want that in my mouth for several hours every night. I ran across this and thought I would try it. It actually works. I've gotten into a routine of boiling it every morning while making my tea, so that part isn't as odd as it first was. I have a high bite, so I was able to fold over the front part of it to be able to adjust for my teeth so the pressure is dispersed more evenly, so that worked out well. I have ideas that could improve the design but I doubt they would listen to me lol. The price is a little much also, but I will pay it to be able to avoid plastics.

These work well and last a very long time and never fell out of my mouth sleeping once while also staying in place! Almost 8 months in and barely notice any wear! A lot better than I expected honestly. It's worth the price not to eat microplastic! I mostly just wash these with dr bronners soap in my hands and every 2 weeks or so boil in water.

This is a great way to avoid plastic, but I'm not sure it actually works. I wake up with pain in my jaw in the morning after wearing it. Love the idea of getting away from plastic, but this seems a few steps away... Also the frequency of having to buy one is a lot. They claim they only last a month. Hoping for more steps in the right direction.

I was skeptical but this works great. Stays in place and comfortable in the mouth. Highly recommend!
