I can't figure out how to get the cap off to fill them with something to make them heavier. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello, to be honest these aren't good at all. Maybe for someone who is not really training in nunchucks, or a young kid. My son who is training needed a pair so I thought that these were great beginner one's for him but not so much. The caps popped off themselves using them daily and they just weren't heavy enough. I would say look around for better one's if your planning to train with them. Hope this helps!

When did they make the chain so long? Every pair I've ever owned has a 4" chain. How do these work compared to standard/shorter chain?

These are almost impossible to work with because the chain is too long

Has anyone added weights to these? If so, what type of weights did you use?

I probably wouldn’t add weights to these since they’re heavier than they look.
