Quality Boot At An Unbeatable Price!
Looking for an affordable suede, black ankle boot is like looking for a needle in a haystack. 80% of the boots I could find were either brown or tan. I don't know. Maybe black is not the "in" color for men's boots in 2013? Anyway, the black suede boots I did manage to find were way out of my price range ($100+). I refuse to pay that kind of money for a boot. Clark Chukka boots are really expensive and not very attractive. I FINALLY stumbbled on this Nunn Bush boot. I couldn't believe the price (half the price of the other brands) but was also shocked they actually had the boot in black! I ordered the boot, not really knowing what to expect for the price. This is truly a quality boot! The suede is really smooth and the shoe is very soft and roomy on the inside. And unlike a lot of ankle boots I have owned, they are very comfortable and don't hurt my feet. I didn't need to buy any extra insoles to put inside for arch support.. I own several Lugz boots as well as a couple of St. John's Bay chukka boots. They are great brands but I can't walk more than five minutes in any of them without my feet hurting. Not having that problem with Nunn Bush.I don't know if I would advise anyone to buy these for snow, rain or taking long walks. I don't think that's what they are for. I just wanted something dressy yet casual to wear around the office or wear when I'm going out on the town. I love these so much I just ordered a second pair (black, of course) as a back-up before they disappear or the price skyrockets!

Good For The Price
Bought these to replace the same pair I had. Got the same size and width but they are a little tight. Not sure why. Anyway, these are good, classic style chukka boots for a reasonable price. They have a little cushioning inside so they are comfortable. My pair lasted about a year before the back of the heal wore down. Pretty much what you'd expect for this price.

Will buy more pairs!
I bought these boots as a sort of impulse purchase during the Christmas season, not really knowing what to expect. I've barely worn any other shoes since. These boots are incredibly comfortable (and I usually wear sole inserts, but I've never felt the need with these), are durable, and look good with just about anything. You can wear them with jeans and a tee, or with a casual suit. The only possible negative things I can say about them is that the tread is wearing off after a few months (you can just buy some grip tape and put it on the bottom), and that the shoelaces have a tendency to shift to one side after a while (a nuisance at best, it only takes two minutes to redo them).I bought these in exactly my size, and they fit perfectly.I did buy a bottle of suede waterproof spray, and after a few applications, I've trudged through deep snowmounds and giant puddles in these, and I've never gotten wet.If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, durable, and affordable boot, then look no further.

Better than any other. Very comfortable and great looks.
I have had issues with my feet for years. I've spent thousands of dollars on shoes the past 5 years. I was worried about buying shoes at all online, but the price was great and they looked exactly like what I was looking for. I was familiar with the brand and their quality, so that eased my mind a bit. I've tried Clark's and they had no cushion or support. Same with all the other brands, high end or not. These boots are great! They are very comfortable and cushioned. They look really nice. I've gotten a bunch of compliments every time I wear them.

DO NOT PURCHASE! POOR QUALITY!
If only I could give this a negative 5. Would not pay even 1/3 of what I paid for them.First of all STRONG ODOR! really, shoes sold on amazon smell like crappy shoes from Chinese flea market.Second built quality! impressions is as if these shoes where made from cardboard type material. The sole is some kind of foamed material, The insole does not cover the whole footbed leaving around 1/3 of and inch uncovered.

Comfortable and look great.
I have somewhat wide feet so I was a little concerned about the fit of these, being that I was purchasing them online. When they arrived and I took them out of the box, my heart sank. I saw they had fairly narrow tips, so my first thought was to hang on to the receipt and the box, since I was certain they would not fit, and that I would be returning them. But then I put them on. Oh, baby... They were soft and comfortable. Even a little roomy. No pinching anywhere. So comfortable, that they are among the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. It's like wearing slippers. They look super cool, too. Go great even with jeans. If you're considering these, just think that for a relatively low price you're buying a whole lot of style. I've been wanting these for some time and I am very happy with this purchase.

Good shoes
A great fitting and very comfortable shoes, but the BROWN in reality is mostly BLACK with a bit of BLUE tones. Yes, it is certainly not brown, but I like it anyway...Craftsmanship is very good as well. Is not slippery at all.P.S. I had my bad experience with these, but it has nothing to do with the product itself.

Great!
Really love these boots. The navy color is really nice looking. The quality is very good and the materials are top notch. I usually wear size 10, I went a half size down like most boots. It fits very snug. I may have been able to get the 10's because it is kind of hard to slip them on, but once they are on they fit great. Very comfortable.Got these for 43 bucks with coupons in early December so it was an absolute steal. I would buy them at 75 no questions asked, though. They look and feel like a $150+ pair of boots.
