SONGMICS Clothes Rack with Wheels, Heavy-Duty, Extendable Hanging Rod

I ordered two of these racks and am surprised at how sturdy they are and how easy they are to put together. Note: The threaded bolts and Allen bar are in the plastic bag. Check the bottom of the boxes with the wheels for the wrench. Putting this together is very quick and easy. I put it together for the first time in under 10 minutes. You do not need any other tools. I recommend the following steps if one person is putting it together. Note: The instructions are very easy to follow. One Person Installation **Put the wheels on LAST ** (1) Go to Assembly Step 2 - Get the 2 Poles Shaped like the letter C (Part A) and the 2 poles shaped like the letter L (Part B). Get the Allen Bar and 4 threaded bolts. Put the L Shaped pole on an elevated flat surface and overhang the short part so it lays flat with the holes facing up. (I did this on our bed as it is going into a bedroom. Guys, Make sure your wife is not home if doing it this way!) Take the Pole shaped like a C and put the bracket over L shaped pole so the holes line up. (Make sure the C is facing down or away from the long side of the L pole). Secure the bracket with the threaded bolts and tighten with the Allen bar. Do this for both sections and then stand the brackets up on their own. (2) Go to Assembly Step 4. Get the two long poles, Part D of equal size. These poles have a thicker and thinner side with a button on both sides. Put the skinny side down and insert into the top of the L Shaped pole from the prior step. Press the button to get the bar to insert. The button will pop out of the hole further down the pole with a "Click". Make sure the button is all of the way out. Do this for both sides. The brackets are still standing but just longer! (3) Go to Assembly Step 3. Place the brackets so the L Shapes are facing each other several feet apart. Install the bottom pole (Part C – Remaining pole with two buttons) with the button facing down. Again, the button must be pressed in to insert the pole. Wait to hear the "Click" to make sure it is locked. I had to wiggle this a little to hear the “Click” (4) Go to Assembly Step 5. Install the Top Pole. Be careful, if the pole is tilted, the top extension pieces will extend out and may hit something. Line up the pole on both sides evenly and push down until both sides rest on the button. Push in the button on one side and push the pole down a little so the button stays pushed in. Go to the other side and do the same. Then push the entire bar down evenly. Listen for the “Click” to make sure the buttons are locked. I had to wiggle this piece a little as well to get both sides to “Click”. (5) Install the wheels. I laid this across an elevated flat (Bed) surface so I could access the base and install the wheels easily. Make sure the two locking wheels are on the same side. Put the threaded part of the wheels into the hole on the bottom of the Legs or C Shaped Pole. You can use the wrench to tighten the threads but it is easier if you just spin the flat metal part with your hand. Then, you only need the wrench to tighten the wheels but I did not need it at all. (6) Put the entire assembly down as it is ready to use. This was very easy to put together. It took more time to write this review! Again, very sturdy and very well built.

Wheels are cheap ones, but they work fine. My main concern is that the rack itself would be strong enough to support a full load and it does that well. It was very quick to put together and seems sufficiently well-made to last. It's a little shorter than I would ideally like but for me it's not a primary rack so it is long enough to hold a good amount of clothes. I'd buy it again simply because it doesn't wobble (like the more expensive one I bought and returned from a big box store). Happy with the purchase!

I am not mechanical at all. I am old and a bit banged up, so I definitely don’t like to crawl around on the floor. I was worried about putting this together by myself. No problem! I read everybody’s comments about assembly, and took the advice to lay it out on a bed to put it together. The enclosed directions were easy to follow. I sat on the bed while I put the wheels on and rested the bar on my knees.The parts were easy to figure out. I did use an included tool to tighten the four screws. Everything else snapped together easily. This unit is heavy duty, solid and strong. I am extremely pleased with it, including the price. It rolls very easily on carpet and speeds across a hard floor. It holds all the clothing and handbags I needed it to. It’s tall enough for hanging my evening wear and long coats. I didn’t time myself putting it together but I wish I had, because it was QUICK. I didn’t swear a single time, either! :-)

I really liked this product. To be honest, I was skeptical at first about whether it cold actually support my weight, but surprisingly it held up just fine. I loved it!

Love this garment rack. When one of my four-foot closets was demolished in order to put a washer/dryer combination in my apartment, I was left with a lot of clothes for which to find a home. This rack is was the answer. It is extremely sturdy and very easy to move, even taking corners if you watch that the weight of the hanging items is evenly distributed. I have this loaded with clothes on multiple thin velvet hangers on Miracle Multiple Hangers (to take advantage of vertical space), and this works really well. For some of my maxi-dresses and pantsuits, I needed to put the part of the hanger below the hook over the bar because they were a bit too long for the five-foot height of the rack, but these are on one end of the garment rack and work fine. I currently am using a screen to cordon off the area with this rack, and am using four large festive melamine serving trays (costing less than five dollars each) to put some of my pairs of boots and a steamer under the clothes. When moving the rack, these four trays are easily removable. As I said in the title of this review, this garment rack is worth every penny I paid and more! Extremely sturdy! Love it!

Very satisfied with the fast delivery, ease of assembly, and quality of this product. When assembling this product, each piece has a nice sturdy feel to it. It comes with the two simple tools that are necessary for assembly, as well as all of the hardware. ** Just keep in mind the fact that once the rack is fully assembled and loaded with everything that you want to hang on it, the best procedure for moving it is to unlock the wheels and move it in an ' endways ' direction rather than pulling or pushing the rack while you are ' facing ' the items that you placed on it. This should greatly minimize any risk of tipping it over when moving it. ** If, for some reason, you have to move it in a ' sideways ' direction, hold onto the two vertical end poles at their ' midway point ' rather than pulling or pushing the rack by the top ' cross bar ', which could cause it to become ' top heavy ' and tip over sideways !!

El perchero es muy resistente colgué 67 prendas (blusas, pantalones, vestidos cortos, vestidos largos, chamarras,abrigos,bolsos, cinturones) y aún así me queda espacio para colgar más en los extremos. Excelente acabado negro mate, la tornillería también está pintada de negro :) Estructura 100% metálica. Solo 2 de las 4 llantas tienen freno. Acabado negro mate, se mira elegante. Llegó bien empaquetado, con todas las piezas cubiertas de plástico y excelente estado,tornillería completa (un tornillo de más) e incluye herramienta de armado. Folleto con claras instrucciones de armado (visual). Me encantó volveré a comprara más
