Star Wars C-3PO Bluetooth Speaker (Fully-licensed)

This is an amazing item! It looks fantastic, and it functions as a high-quality speaker system. It's certainly well made, with good production values. And it comes nicely packaged. If you're a Star Wars fan, and you fancy a great looking Darth Vader piece to display - which works as a Bluetooth wireless audio system - then I highly recommend this product. It has a deluxe feel to it, and will likely be difficult to purchase in the not too distant future.Yet it's not perfect. While I am pleased with this item, I am nonetheless somewhat disappointed by its size. It's described as "virtually life-size" - but this is taking liberties with the word 'virtual'. It is, in fact, quite a bit smaller than the full-size Darth Vader helmet. When compared to a genuinely full-sized DV head (e.g.  Star Wars tm Supreme Edition Darth Vader tm Original (Oversize) Mask & Helmet Set ) it's obvious that this item is somewhat tiny. It stands 32cm in height (but this includes the base), is 20cm wide and 25cm deep. The actual size of Vader's helmet is approx. 40cm in height, 34cm wide and 40cm deep. As such, there's a substantial difference. So, while this item does look good, it doesn't offer you something anywhere near the actual size of the Sith Lord.This product is, essentially, a speaker system. It has output from two 3w speakers (creating stereo sound), as well as one 10w subwoofer (allowing for a great deep quality to the audio). It takes about 3 hours to charge (via the mains), and the battery then functions for about 4 hours. It can be paired with any Bluetooth device (e.g. a tablet) - and as you pair it you hear Vader's breathing sound, and his eyes light up red! It can also be hooked up to a PC or TV.It comes with everything needed - including all cables, adaptors and an instructional manual. There's also a bag to cover the item, to prevent dust settling onto it, as well as a polishing cloth.It's easy to use, once you've read the instructions. And the audio quality is great - which is highly important. Given the size of the speakers, it's quite impressive how loud this is. I've included some photos - showing the item from different angles; as well as a close-up of the speaker area.I am aware the Disney offer another version of this -  Star Wars 1:1 Ratio Bluetooth Wireless Speaker Heads with Certificate of Authenticity from Disney - Limited Edition (Darth Vader)  - which is actually full-size. But it's about twice as expensive! Nonetheless, if you're after a full-size DV head then I recommend the other item. While I am happy with this particular product, I'm not ecstatic ... as the small size is disappointing.Overall, if you're after a good looking display piece that provides wireless audio then I think you'll like this item. But if you're after a full-size Vader helmet then I suggest the alternative - and rather more costly - option.

this is my honest review on the ACW c3po Bluetooth speakers firstly let me start by saying it looks amazing and the really did a fantastic job on the sculpt I think using 3d printer and the gold colour is movie accurate and looks amazing to now let me start on the actual quality of the speaker it is for me just OK and loud enough to fill a room but not the best sound quality as the sound is not coming out of the eye sockets which means it's firing the sound generally in one direction forward and you would have to be in the firing line of the sound to benefit the loudness of the speaker for its size I think they could have made the sound more powerfull maybe 30-40 watts max loudness but instead you only get 2 ×3 watts and a 10 or 15 watt subwoofer for bass again the sound is like I said OK but you really are paying for the look and sculpt of the speaker and makes for a nice display piece as well. as you you can see I only gave it 3 stars and if it were not for the sound quality i would have given this 5 stars but I would still recommend this speaker for both looks and usability as you do get 2for1 in my opinion and make sure not to scratch it as the gold chrome plating on it is very nicely done and do wear the gloves provided in the box when handling this speaker would be my advice.features: touch sensitive buttons on the Base unit and has NFC touch phone pairing 3.5 mm auxiliary jack for non Bluetooth devices volume up volume down bass up bass down buttons pause and play button and a button for pairing 2 speakers at once compatible with any smart phone and mp3 player I hope this review was usefully.

Well I was really looking forward to receiving this C3P0 speaker and I was expecting a high quality item but unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed. I knew as soon at arrived that the box was not in very good condition and when I opened it up the speaker was in a loose bag, on inspection there are scratches and blemishes all over it and although they’re hard to see I know they are there. Functionally it’s fine and works well, sound quality is decent but I’m just so disappointed with the finish. I actually think mine was maybe a return from someone else because it can’t possibly have gone through quality control with the finish I have.

Brilliant quality sound and has touch sensitive buttons to adjust the base level and skip to next song only disappointment is its not life size its a lot smaller than i expected

This was so cool really big and looks the part. I did however send this back as the touch buttons on the base didn't work very well and the sound was awful. Considering the money that you are spending on this I would have thought it would have been better. I was going to keep it as show piece as I didn't want to send it back but not for the price we paid.

Three letters describe this WOW - very well made, very easy to use, has a built in rechargeable battery so you can move it arrowed the house or use in the garden. The sound from it is fantastic, very clear and easily fills the room. You can either control it from your phone/ipad/bluetooth device or from the buttons on the base. It also comes with a velvet hood so when not in use and be easily covered so as not to damage it or let it get dusty. Its worth every penny, if you are a star wars fan you need this! it looks fantastic and it sounds fantastic.

The detail is amazing, really nice item. However, it was advertised as the lights glowing blue when paired with your Bluetooth device, this is not the case, very disappointing with that. Item was also damp inside the box also.Tested the unit for sound quality and it is very good load sound, and the quality is very good.. If your a star wars fan like me then this is a lovely item to own. I will be looking in to buying Darth Vadors head soon, even though I felt slightly mislead my the original eyes lighting up.issue.Hence only 3 star review, sew how Vador arrives and hopefully leave 5 stars next time.
