cured the problem
Was a competitive price and took about 15 minutes to install. The recorder was losing sound and picture sync on a regular basis and sometimes unable to watch. Thought this might be the solution, and in my case it was and saved me buying a new recorder.

Can't fault delivery or packaging. But here is the rub. These drives supplied are GREEN 3.5" WD drives dated 2009, and although they work, these drives are NOT the BLUE variety advertised and certainly not SATA 2. Disappointed. But then, what can you expect for the price?

2 drives ordered.WD green drives arrived not WD Blue advertised.Drives >10Yrs Old so not new.Both Drives ordered came in normal jiffy bags not even anti static packaging.Both drives DOA and returned.

As TocH says its a green drive not blue and I had to return mine as it didnt actually work.

Sehr gutes Produkt. Die Festplatte funktioniert nach dem Einbau bis jetzt einwandfrei. Der Geräuschpegel ist leise und angenehm fast nicht zu hören. Über die Performance kann ich nur sagen nach Neuinstallation der aktuellen WindowsVersion über USB-Stick (ca. 20-30Minuten) sehr gut, kann dieses Produkt nur weiterempfehlen.
