For the price, you can't beat this set. It's my third set (2 for me, 1 for a friend), and I've used my first set at least 5 times with no breakage--so the quality is great for the price. I have at least 12 rose bushes, and I switch my cutting tools between bushes to avoid spreading disease, then clean them all at the end. 10 pruners (2 sets) will make my work faster and easier. The tools are sharp, and I love the colors--so I can differentiate mine from my friend's set. Each tool has its own lock, which will help them stay sharp and last longer. I like that they come in a black bag to keep them together, but a plastic box would be perfect to better protect the sharp tools and avoid hand nicks (it may drive up the price, but I would pay an extra $2-3 for the safety). My hands are large but slim, and I use my own thicker gloves to protect my hands and gel manicure--but these did fit well. I think the gloves are basic. They will not protect against thorns, and I don't remember if they're waterproof or anything (DOUBTFUL), but still a nice starter set/bonus for the price. For the folks who have had the tools break or give trouble, I think you have to use your judgement to grab the right tool for the job--some are for light leaf and stem cutting, others are for thicker canes and branches. This should be obvious and expected when using any garden tool. One of the tools on my set sticks a little when I cut, but that is no different than more expensive pruners I've owned--so still a GREAT deal for the price.

The clippers are sharp and cut nicely. A nice deal for the price.

Cutters are sharp and easy to use. And getting a pair of gloves was a bonus. Only thing that would have been nice would be a nicer container to keep them in. Only a draw string bag was included.

Using these on bonsai trees, just be sure you know what your getting size-wise.

We have not used all of the trimmers, but so far so good.

I have used all of the except the little tweezers. I love the bright color of the handles so they don’t get lost in the grass or flower bed. Great for shrubs, herbs, flowers all the tools for all the things! Super glad I purchased! Do it if you’re debating. I’ve never ever review stuff!
