Barry M Liquid Chrome Nail Paint, Glow Crazy

‘Glow Crazy’ is is beautiful silvery-blue chrome nail paint from the Barry M Liquid Chrome Collection.This highly pigmented chrome effect nail paint gave excellent, fully opaque coverage from the first coat and had my nails been in perfect condition, I could have left it at just that, but due to my nails tending to peel and also having quite deep ridges, when this nail paint dried it only served to highlight these imperfections, magnifying them and my nails looked worse than ever!I persevered (because the colour and Chrome finish are just so lovely) and applied 2 more coats and this smoothed out the unevenness of my nails and I was really happy with the final result. It dried very quickly but sadly though, it did start to chip after only a few hours so I think this polish, as beautiful as it was, will be kept to be worn only on special occasions or a night out.

This product is a great price so I have given it 5 stars. The product took longer to arrive than advertised for some reason, but I literally paid barely anything so I can tolerate that. And I genuinely think it was the postal system as the post make date was some time before. Thanks for the purchase!

Firstly a big negative. The nail varnish arrived in a box big enough to drive my car into! Ok then, not quite that big, but still very large! Such a huge waste of packaging in my opinion. Why not use a small envelope? Amazon, get to grips with this!Ok. The varnish itself went on very smoothly and gave fantastic coverage with just one coat. I love the colour which is a purpley, grey-ish metallic colour. But..... after cleaning my nails and applying a top coat then two coats of varnish and one top coat, I was expecting promising results. Sadly, just a few hours later the varnish was chipping off. That was without washing the dishes or doing that much at all in fact in those few hours. OK. It wasn't expensive, but still....

Vegan. Cruelty free - top selling points but, beyond that, this actually is a thick, 1 coat varnish. Probably better with 2 coats but I'm lazy & time poor & can get away with 1. Lovely colour. Grey blue with a hont of mauve? Drying time is practically instant.

My favourite colour. It sticks so well, lasts for ages and makes me feel so glam. The metallic is unreal and it really stands out, couldn't have gotten a better rose gold look.
