not 15in and a very light item
This is a great prop for a costume, but not very practical for expected use. The shaft is only about 9 inches and the handle is foam wrapped in faux leather. I will say that the construction is pretty sturdy and it could last a few uses. Overall, cute but not what I was looking for.
