Minky Table Top Ironing Board Cover

I usually use an ironing press but often only need to iron a few items of clothing so after using a tabletop one on holiday I decided this would be ideal. It is and on the whole I am very pleased with it. My only reservation was that I found the cover too thin and the pattern came through to the items I was ironing. I solved this by purchasing another cover and putting it on top of the original. It was a tight fit but worth the effort.

Ordered this to go with Minky Table Top ironing board that I purchased (see my separate review) and it did not disappoint. Good quality and fit perfectly. Made ironing much easier.1 star dropped because I think it is pricey given it is not a full sized cover.

This cover was bought for my small Minky ironing board, to replace the blue drawstring one as I’d worn it out.The replacement is a poor relation, it’s thinner than the original with its foam pad, it doesn’t fit with the old foam pad under and it’s too thin without it. It’s also not a very good fit on its own. I’ve persevered with it but since washing it yesterday there is no way I will continue to use it. It’s destined for the bin and I will have to repair my old one some how. Not a good buy at all.

You can see why I ordered a new cover. This one is too small by far. It is really mean and poor quality. The cover itself is barely larger than the size of table it claims to cover so there is no fabric to tuck around the board. My board is 81 x 32 without a cover and I'd expect the new cover to be at least 4cm bigger in each dimension. Returning and buying another.

The product was well packaged and very healthy.
