I got a Bike rack (VelociRax) and my hitch did not work due to the rack hitting the back of my RV. I got this extender to move the rack out enough I didn't worry about it bumping my RV. It works great. I also used it on my Polaris General, same issue bike rack to close to the body of my side-by-side. Works great but you will need a hitch stabilizer other wise you will have play and it will bounce around.

The weight distribution hitch i bought didn't drop down far enough. I added this and it worked out great. Only wish it had a hole to slide closer to the vehicle.

Works to raise a towed trailer from a low base hitch on a car. Needs a 2" hitch for this one. Takes the trailer and raises it about 4 inches higher so if you are having issues with trailer stands, space tires on the trailer, etc.. This will help get it further off the ground while towing making it harder to hit pavement while going over bumps and potholes and speed-bumps and more while being towed

This is a very well built trailer hitch product and provides a rise or drop of your ball to keep your trailer level. This is only for use with a 2 inch receiver. Really heavy and well built. Great product and I recommend without reservation.

Keep this around if you ever pull bumper hitch trailers. You’ll eventually run into a place where the trailer is either too high or too low to hook up to. This hitch extender will save you some time and frustration, slides right into your existing hitch receiver and extends it plus lowers the ball. Or rotate it 180 degrees to raise the ball. All the welds looks good and no pitting but n the metal anywhere.It’s a good idea to take this out when it’s not being used. Be a friend and save a shin

Just a few notes worth mentioning on this because it's pretty much what you expect when you order it. Overall, its sturdy and durable and about the same as what you will find at any big box store, and that is one of my issues with it. I was literally in one of those stores yesterday and saw the exact same thing for about $10 less so the price point is an issue. Secondly, they don't include any pins with this unit, what you see in the photo is what was inside the cardboard delivery box that arrived. For those two reasons I just couldn't give it a full five-star review. If you are somewhere that its more convenient to order than to simply go buy one than this is a good quality unit and will work for you, otherwise I guess it's up to you.
