It is new but so far I am very impressed with this gaming chair. It is very comfortable for long sessions of gaming or home office work.The last few chairs I had featured seat plates that were mounted to a piece of wood that supported the seat of the chair. The frame that supported the arms and back of the chair were attached to the BOTTOM side of this wood by only 6 small screws. This results in creaking and body weight breaking the screws out of the wood.This chair has the frame bolted directly to the seat plate with a pair of cross bars that cradle the wood that supports the seat. This results in a quiet and study chair that cannot fail in the same way.The chair arrived in perfect condition and all pieces worked so I cannot rate supportThe supplied wrench's shape does make putting a couple of the seat plate bolts in a little tricky and the hinge cover mounting hole was slightly off making it a little difficult to assemble, but the rest of the chair was easy.

I purchased a Fantasylab chair from VON RACER, the chair never raised at all. I contacted support and was told they would send out the correct parts. 20 days after not hearing from them, i go to contact them again and amazon tells me "The seller associated with your order or inquiry has left the Amazon store or is no longer able to receive any further email communications." Yet somehow they have opened a few more items to sell such as this chair. I would not recommend, spent a lot of money on a chair I cant even use and their company just decided not to honor my warranty.

Chair is very cozy for many hours of gaming. Sturdy and strong and wide especially if you’re a bigger guy like me 10/10
