Mimo app is not on Google Play Store anymore, why and how do you think people with android phones will buy this expensive gymbal ?

My most recent inquiry found they're still not on Google Play Store. This means they don't even abide by Google's standards of security. The US government has banned DJI from all government phones for security reasons. Side-loading an Android app is dangerous under ANY circumstances, but particularly where the country of origin is engaged in ongoing spy activities against the US.

Does this product also have a threaded screw type connection normally found on tripods?

Yes the base comes off and you can use any tripod.

Thank you for your inquiry. Osmo Mobile 6 is compatible with most smartphones on the market. It is recommended to use smartphones with a width of 67-84 mm, a thickness of 6.9-10 mm, and a weight of 170-290 g. However, we have not yet tested Samsung Galaxy A30's compatibility with the DJI Mimo. If your device meets the hardware requirements, you can connect your mobile phone to a DJI device’s Bluetooth and use the mobile phone camera or a third-party camera app for gimbal stabilization when recording.
