Just set it up and seems to be working well will let you know in due course if it deserves full marks

UV light does not work micro switch needed to be held down with tape. Should not have to do this but a bad design. Filter OK. Contacting the supplier for a new UV unit.Would not purchase again.

Works well at clearing algae, however backflush doesn't really work. This needs cleaning as with most filters. Secondly the on light viewing window is useless as the bulb is encased in solid black plastic so you can't view the light to see if it's working, also after 1 year getting drips from joints. Other than those faults it is good if regularly cleaned as the Red pop up indicator didn't pop up despite the filter being thick with mud like water preventing it cleaning, even after a long back flush.

Brilliant filter. Made the mistake of buying another Hozelock from Amazon. Had to return it. This one is so much better. Solid build, easy to set up! Accepts the power of my 6000 litre pump and delivers my waterfall without reducing power. Highly recommended.

2 yrs on this has died. After some months it was impossible to turn the knob at the top to clean it.Now water won't pass through it and I have had to replace it.It's big brother is great, so maybe I was unlucky but this was a a waste of money

The filter has been in place now for over a month, first it was easy to fit. Within a couple of days the water was getting clearer and by the time the month was up it was crystal clear. I was impressed with the back wash cleaning feature as it work without having to take it apart,

Uv not worked not happy with responses have now bought a second uv and it works fine.Would not choose this outlet again.Reason for 2 stars is the unit bio filter seems to work
