Spear and Jackson? I don’t think so!
I suspect this is a fake as did others. More fool me for not taking notice. It is a very badly manufactured tool arrived with split to shaft in between the rivets and blade not honed. Total rubbish should have sent it back but too busy and using it only for thistle whacking now don’t expect it to last long

Poor workmanship on the blade. Handle broke when used for intended purpose.
It looks stout and as the picture. I was uncertain, from the description, why they would need to add an epoxy coating to the blade. The description says it will reduce rust but rust alone is not likely to be an issue with quality steel that is well cared for and the sharpened edge would not be protected anyway. On close inspection it appears that the real purpose of the epoxy is to hide the poor workmanship in the casting or fabrication of the blade and it’s connection to the handle socket. I don’t know yet if the gaps and crevices in the metal will effect the longevity of the tool or if they are just cosmetic; but they were not completely hidden by the epoxy coating. After spending much time sharpening to a proper edge, I cleared brambles and buck brush and trimmed this years green growth on a hedge. However, the handle broke at the first rivet when I struck a larger vine stalk. The wood handle, if hickory as advertised, is punky or the wood is not hickory at all. This product will not be able to dependably perform its intended function and cannot be recommended.

The best brush cutter
Strong solid blade with a good heavy weight. No bush will survive a hit from this blade. I was surprised they made tools this strong anymore. The only drawback is that the blade arrives unsharpened. So you need to sharpen and reshape the blade edge. Once you sharpen the blade, then this thing will cut through any brush or bush.

tres mauvaise qualite du manche !!!!!
Tres decu !!!! Pendant la première utilisation sur des ronces d environ 1.5 cm de diamètre, le manche a cassé net au niveau de la partie métallique, le bois du manche semble de très mauvaise qualité, voir même reconstitué, au prix de l outil c est vraiment navrant.
