String. No home can be without it. With so many varieties which do you choose? Why did I get this one? Simple. I already have one and knew what it was like and how good it was (kitchen and general purpose use). This was for another purpose, I wanted to crochet a string bag. Perfect; no roughness or bits to irritate or scratch my fingers while using.

This is quality, nice thick natural cooking twine at a reasonable price. The item was received well packaged and was as described. Some reviews indicated an odour but I did not experience that. So far I have only used to tie poultry but it held up and did the job. This spool of twine will last several years for sure! Definitely good value and definitely would recommend!

I use butcher's twine for a lot more than just my kitchen needs. I use it predominantly in the garden. It is used to guide vining plants, tie up tomatoes, or to build trellises, etc. I use it because it breaks down fairly fast in the outdoors. Typically, it starts to fail in about two years. Meaning, If it ends up on the ground at some point, I can turn into the soil, etc.... and it disintegrates. This twine is great in the kitchen, as advertised, and anywhere else you do not want to use synthetics.
