I have used this mount for a little over a week now. I have to say, this is the best phone mount I have ever owned. I operate heavy machinery, so a phone mount for me takes a lot of abuse, going over very rough terrain, shaking, etc. The stability is next to none, it fits my iPhone 17 pro max with an otterbox defender very well, it has never fallen out. The suction cup has never failed on me. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a rugged, durable, and affordable phone mounting option.

I’ve been using the iOttie Easy One Touch 6 car mount for a bit now, and it does exactly what it promises. Installation was quick, and it sticks securely to both the dashboard and windshield. The one-touch mechanism makes it easy to mount and remove my phone with one hand, which is great while driving. The arm is adjustable and holds my phone steady, even on bumpy roads. It fits my phone with a case on and hasn’t slipped or loosened so far. Overall, it feels well-built and reliable. Definitely a solid choice if you want a simple, dependable car mount.

First car holder that I have liked for more than 6 months. Easily moves and holds my phone tight. Does not move, installed easy. The only issue I have had is when it gets supper hot it falls off. I just reattach it and it is fine. The quality is good and I would suggest this to other people, which I have.

I've gone through about 10 different phone mounts over the years trying to find "the one," and this might be as close as I'm getting. First, one of the key features of this model is that it comes with a mounting plate. This makes mounting much easier and gives you more options as you can stick it nearly anywhere and have a smooth, flat surface to mount the holder. The dashboard of my truck doesn't have many places that are flat enough to mount a phone holder, and this created a lot more options. The place I chose to mount is too textured for a suction cup to grip, but the mounting plate sticks no problem. The suction on the mount is incredible. Even with it turned "off", the grip is still rock solid. I actually drove around for a day with it "off" and the mount never let go. To remove from the mounting plate though is easy, simply pull up on the tab and "peel" the suction cup off. It will take a little effort, but that's good! The all joints on the arm are "indexed" with interlocking teeth, which means once it's tighted down it won't move, at all. It also won't (cannot) loosen up over time from vibration/wear. Adjustability is great, too, though this particularly model won't extend fore/aft if if that is a concern. Now, the phone grip is just as good as the rest of the mount. Lightly press your phone into the mount and the arms snap close, tightly gripping your phone. My phone is relatively heavy (Google Pixel 7 in a Google branded hard case), and it does not move, AT ALL. My truck isn't the smoothest riding vehicle and Michigan roads aren't great either, but this is the first mount I've used that shows zero movement or vibration. It's rock-solid. I've tried several highly reviewed magnet mounts, and none come even close to this stability. Removing the phone is easy. I can do it one-handed, simply squeeze the "wings" together and the jaws pop open and lock. The only minor issue I have with the mount is that the phone tends to sit every so slightly crooked, which only is an issue as the bottom charge port is sometimes off-center and partially blocked by one of the lower "jaws" of the mount. I can usually just nudge the phone a bit to adjust, or at worst take the phone out and try again paying more attention to how it's oriented before closing the jaws. All in all, seems to be an excellent product with good design and better than average construction and details.

I’ve tried a lot of car mounts over the years and this is the first one that really checks all the boxes for me. The one-touch mechanism is super smooth – I can put my phone in the cradle and lock it in with one hand, which is great when I’m getting in the car and starting navigation. The side arms grip the phone firmly without pressing any buttons, and it holds my phone steady even on rough roads and speed bumps. The suction cup and base feel very secure. I mounted it on the dashboard/windshield area and it hasn’t fallen off once, even in hot weather. The arm has a good range of motion, so I can angle the phone exactly where I want it without blocking my view of the road. Once it’s tightened, it doesn’t droop or slowly sag like cheaper mounts I’ve used. I also appreciate the little design details: the release buttons are easy to reach, the cradle is padded so it doesn’t scratch the phone, and it works fine with a normal case on. If you’re tired of mounts that wobble, fall off, or are a pain to use with one hand, this one is worth it.

Great for one-handed placement of your phone when busy with the other hand, and easy to remove your device....automatically and instantly grips your phone once the pressure backing senses device placement, making it super easy to place your phone in it, and it's wide enough for larger phones with phone cases.

This is usually well reviewed, but it's important to know some things before this is bought. The suction cup is sticky, as in super sticky and might be annoying for some people to use, but it does make it more secure. If a sticky glue like suction cup is not wanted, do not buy this. The sticky part caught me offguard, but it does seem solid so I guess I'll keep it.
