Pedal works well

It's smaller than what it seems, especially inner bin is too much small for bathroom.

Firstly congratulations to Amazon for the packaging, may be a little excessive, but there was no way this bin would have gotten damaged in transit.The bin itself has a good quality finish. Surprisingly the bin, is basically a metal cylinder with a lid, and robust plastic liner (with handle). There is no base to the metal bin, with the plastic liner removed you can see the floor beneath. It's not an issue at all in day-to-day use though.So the build quality is good, so is the finish. Any marks are easily removed with a damp cloth.The plastic liner bin is robust, washable, and features a metal handle should you wish to use the bin without "bin liners".Having owned and used this product for around six weeks now, I'm not sure I could justify paying any more for a kitchen bin, certainly not £50 upwards of some of the similar sized alternatives.

Really light and easy to use

The bin was well packed and so arrived without any dents. It looked good in my kitchen but the mechanics of it are appalling and not fit for purpose as a pedal bin. The foot pedal fell off the third time it was pressed and could not be fitted back on again as the fixing was so weak. The lever system was too bendy for the height of the bin and as the lever was at the back of the lid and just barely touching it, the force to lift it was too much for the material it was made of. I did not return it because I did not want a replacement and sending back a bigish bin is not easy - so I had to go off to B & Q to buy a stainless steel drawer knob. The bin is now lift up. Which is not what I bought. I am not impressed as it was not a cheap bin.

I was not expecting a top class item as the price was so low. When it arrived it was obvious there had been no effort to wrap the bin securely so it was badly dented and it was broken at the base. As I was only using this bin upstairs to collect recyclable items I could not be bothered to send this back. My husband sat and carefully pushed out most of the dents. I would like to advise anybody who is thinking of buying this item that the outside of the bin is much thinner than a baked bean tin. Also I think it would very difficult not to damage the bin when you pick it up as it is so thin. I have not contacted the company about this as I could not be bothered to arrange for this item to be sent back,I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANY PERSON CONSIDERING TO BUY THIS ITEM PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I ordered 8 of these bins for our Church to help with the COVID-19 requirements. All arrived within 24 hours and were extremely well packaged with no marks on them. They look very smart. Thank you.
