Wonderful boat or dock ladder!
Love, love this ladder! I'm 68 and a plus size gal so climbing up most ladders attached to boats can be nearly impossible. This ladder, with its 4 steps and tall handles, is so nice! My hubby firmly attached it to our pontoon's deck and I now swim with confidence, knowing that I can get back in the boat without help. One downside though, watch out when folding the ladder up or you risk serious pinching of your fingers!

Like it but....
This ladder is perfect when it comes to getting in & out of the water. That being said, if you're wearing swim shorts or swim trunks you have to be careful of the handles bcuz they get stuck on the shorts. It also pulls a lot on the swim deck so I don't recommend using it in open water. This is definitely a ladder that should be used in shallower water. With our 26' Crown Line we've used it in 4ยฝ' of water & it still hot the bottom of the lake. It's easy to close & actually made it to the marina without trying when the hubby forgot to lift it up when we were headed back in.

great pontoon option
for a hundred bucks (ish) this is a good choice. on my pontoon its nice to have a front ladder in addition to the rear ladder that doesn't block a door or anything. It would be nice if it had one more rung and was a bit longer but it does the job and its solid built.

So easy to climb with the handles
Love the handles. I have used it for over a year with no issues. Very well made. At 66 years old, climbing the old ladder onto the swim platform was a challenge. This thing is a game changer with the handles. It all folds up into the space that the original ladder fit in to. Ingenious design. Very solidly built.

Solid platform ladder with grab bars
Fit my rear platform, I was able to reuse my existing platform supports. Ladder extends without issue and having the grab bars weโre more useful than I expected

Just perfect for our deck boat

Excellent design but it rusts
Really a clever, strong design but the "stainless steel" rusts when exposed to salt water. I now use Spray Way (from Walmart) stainless steel cleaner to keep it looking good!

Poor quality manufacturing.
The boarding ladder was delivered in an unusable condition because it was poorly made. One of the handles interfered with the ladder when it was stowed, and raised to a different level than the other handles. Swopping the handles side-to-side fixed the interference but left one handle distinctly off line. There was impact damage on one of the base plates that made dismantling and reassembly nearly impossible. On further inspection it was found the axles were misaligned so the base plates could not be firmly fastened to the boat because doing that prevented the ladder from being deployed. The vendor was helpful but the chat ended before my request for a replacement was addressed.

Looks good, great idea. Ideal for lighter slimmer people LOL
Product looks good in design and functionality. I am a little concerned with the weight rating. I can see the ultimate lift from the water bending the joint possibly. I would recommend a lighter use than it suggests. Was also a bit sticky to use the retractable step. Also the width of the step was narrow once extended.
