Great once you get to know it.
Not long had this camera but I am getting used to it. The video is okay for my basic needs but the enclosed microphone is a bit naff: already have a good attachment mic so no problem there. I nearly sent this back because it failed with my video editor and HDMI connection to my monitor. Then I changed the settings from 4k to one below: 2.7 and it works just fine with both. Happy with this camera so far but need to get more used to it. Will now stick with my purchase and I can safely recommend it to you. It suits my basic needs.

This camera does not have an 18x zoom lens
This camera does not have an 18x zoom lens . In comparison to a 4x zoom on my phone's camera I would estimate the zoom to be @ 2x maximum .Also there's no display as to remaining battery life (in minutes) or filming time left on SD card .
