i broke my original having dropped the rack on the ground but this replacement is an original Thule replacement I think not a replica, just goes straight on comes with clips too, no straps but you weren't buying it for the straps!

The clips only attach one way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, I am writing this review so you don't fall into the same trap that i did. All of my previous wheel holders have come as part of the whole bike carrier product so the wheel holders were already installed. When you buy the wheel holder separately the clips that hold the rubber tightening belt arrive unattached to the wheel holder itself. I tried to clip these on but i was worried about breaking the plastic holder because it was taking too much force to do so. After returning the originals (after contacting Thule) and getting replacements I found that the clips will only attach one way, I was just unlucky that when i tried to attach the clips, on both occasions i tried attaching the slightly wider side first. If Thule had advised me to check attaching them both ways i wouldn't have had the returns issue - Both sides of the clip look identical at first glance.
