Weber 6625 2 Piece Barbecue Tool Set, Black/silver, One Size

I admit it, I like Weber gear. I’ve been using it for years and have never found a better made BBQ. I know the cost of Weber products is high, but one of my BBQs is getting on for 15 years old and it’s still in great shape. Until I bought these, I’d used a number of different makes and styles of BBQ tools, from normal domestic tongs and fish slices to the bespoke items available just about everywhere. Invariably they ended up in the bin when they either broke, or were impractical.This year I bit the bullet and paid for the Weber set, and I’m really glad that I finally did. They are strong, well made and the tongs are brilliant. They even have serrated edges on the inside surface to hold on to those rascally sausages which normally seem determined to escape.I’m very happy with this set and would recommend them, although a star has been deducted solely based on overall value for money.Every product I review is one I have purchased myself.I rely on unbiased reviews when making shopping choices so that’s exactly what you’ll get from me. Very disappointed with the quality i expected much better from Weber.The tongs are actually very good but the quality of the spatula is pathetic, the handle wobbles when you shake it and the metal is so thin that even my 3 year old son could bend it with ease, it also has sharp edges.I had previously read many reviews stating this fact but thought it wasn't true, unfortunately it is.Like i said the tongs are good but the spatula is extremely poor and for this reason i am giving one star only. Avoid this spatula ( i expect the two pronged fork is also poor!) And just buy the tongs separately.
