Disappointed
The item is defective when I showed it to the speech therapist it does not close with battery and there is a high pitch sound coming from the tool which affect sensory processing by distracting my child. Unfortunately this product cannot be returned so its a complete waste of money. Must not be an original product if this is defective

Poorly designed battery lock easily breaks - avoid
My son is autistic and has sensory challenges related to motor movement that affects his ability to speak and eat. We got this for him to practice exploring the senses around his mouth. For about a week he loved it and used it regularly but then it broke. I tried to fix it but was not able to. The device has a bizarre locking mechanism to hold the battery in place that both screws in and also clicks into place. It’s held together with a small plastic piece that seems to require pressure to hold it into the right position. This piece is small and brittle and I can’t understand why they didn’t just set up a simple screw in lock like every other battery powered device in existence.Nevertheless, my son liked it so much I decided to ask for a replacement. I sent the broken one in and the seller graciously sent a new one immediately - zero complaints about the replacement process.I gave it to my son to use, but within a mere hour we encountered the same problem with the stupid lock not working and the battery falling out. I fiddled with it for a long time but again could not fix it. My son was not rough with the device, and besides, a tool for a 4 year old to use should have some durability.I never write reviews but this this was so frustrating that I wanted to warn other potential buyers. If not for the faulty lock mechanism I would have given it a positive rating. There are other similar tools on the market, so I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Great tool, but broke after 2nd battery change!
We love the Sensi for our son, it has been amazing for oral sensory input and for preparing for a tongue tie release. However, it’s the second time we’ve changed the battery and the end piece broke! While turning it back in (carefully, this tool is essential for us so we try to take excellent care of it) the bottom piece broke and the plastic cracked - it’s broken and we haven’t even had it for 6 months. Really big bummer since we can’t replace it right now.

TOO PRICEY FOR THE QUALITY
I use this for my son's feeding therapy as recommended by his speech therapist. The tools have a great concept to help stimulate and develop oromotor skills. However, the tools didn't last a year for the tip attachments and the sensi pen stopped working. It is sad that everything is too pricey and things don't last as you expect especially for parents that struggle financially and can't afford medical or therapy equipments as we wish.
