Good sturdy, spinning bike, highly recommend
For the price, this is a good sturdy bike so far. In the last week it has been used by the whole family, of whom some say the seat is uncomfortable. I regularly attend spinning classes so find it pretty comfortable. I thought carefully about what bike to buy, but I’m very pleased that I went for this particular bike, having the 15kg flywheel definitely makes a difference, it’s not too dissimilar to your regular spin bike in the gym, obviously just smaller. I find it good for cycling standing up, but all of us are under 10.5 stone, not sure how someone heavier would find it. The display is adequate, easy to use, gives all the information needed and the heart rate sensors seem to work ok. The resistance knob is quite sensitive, but just takes a bit of getting used to. Efficient delivery, quicker than expected, left with a neighbour. Part of the outer casing of the main part of the bike was cracked, but I’ve just covered with some tape as it doesn’t affect the performance of the bike. Overall, I would definitely recommend as a good alternative to a spin class at the gym.

Get what you pay for but does it’s job- would recommend
Not bad for the money, I’m 6’1” and 96 kg, bought this to improve cardio and lose weight, teamed with YouTube workouts lost 5 kg in first week after an hour per day, marked down on sturdiness as I have it set to its limit and if I give it some beans the handlebars do flex a little, I use it with my fitbit as the built in data thing is a bit cheap . On plus side it does what it’s supposed to , it’s easy to store and wheel out in my flat, I would recommend, but you need a fitness tracker to get the best from your workout. The seat is very good quality and although handlebars flex a little I don’t think the mechanics of it will fail as I’ve had it a few weeks and have beasted it every day , about an hour of spin bike burns me 500ish calories and I’m male and 51 yrs

Good value. Machanically solid/stable/smooth. Love ridding it.
Delivered in 2 days. Easy to put together - only a few main components. Instructions simple/clear. Ridding great - mechanically simple, solid, stable. Very smooth - all adjustable. All family members can use. Seat small but we don’t ride too long so no problem. LCD panel a bit too raw - hard to see in the dark; a colour one with light would be better. But with this value you can’t ask for too much. It looks great with my home gym in the conservatory- nothing else is expected/needed for total body excercises. Absolutely brilliant value - we all use it on a daily basis. Better than we had thought with this price.

Very pleased
Dislike, poor communication/misunderstandings are. delivery dates!Likes, everything about this product, better than expected. Good build quality, sturdy and good looking. Assembly relativly easy, about 1 hour once unwrapped, a second pair of hands would have helped but not critical. I am a beginner at this keep fit lark but I think this bit of kit will keep me interested ( fingers crossed). I am well over 6ft tall and weigh about 18.5 stone but the bike seems well able to cope with me and there's still plenty of adjustment left. A good purchase.

Noise, burning smell and gearing issues.
Prompt delivery and packaged well with simple instruction. Downsides are that it is VERY loud and the gearing system casuing a strong burning smell, due to a fabric pressing against the wheel. Overall, I would give it a 3.5. If the gearing, breaking and noise were improved, it would score far higher.

A very good bike
A very good, solid bike. My wife and I follow spin classes online. You need to spend 7 or 8 times the price of this to get the bike used by instructors but you simply use your judgement to adjust the torque to suit your needs. One and only criticism, the handle bars are fixed forward

An expensive and disappointing experience
1) FAULTYWhen I had put the product together I found it to be faulty in two ways. First, a loud grinding noise came from the chain. At low speeds this was an intermittent grinding noise but it became continuous as I pedalled faster. If you had a cycle that started making this noise you would immediately think something was wrong and be worried about wear and damage, as well as the noise. My wife said it was very loud elsewhere in the house too. It was certainly not the smooth ride promised on the packaging.Second, the handlebars rocked slightly from side to side, particularly when in the higher position I needed. (I am tall.)I also found it to be uncomfortable because, although technically high enough for my leg length, the handlebars would not go high enough. A further problem was that there was no way to set a fixed level of resistance to pedalling. There is no scale as I am used to having on my old magnetic bike. Consequently, you have no way to control your level of challenge.I decided to return the bike for a refund rather than ask for a replacement.2) SELLER WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE PRODUCT WAS FAULTYI was shocked to find that the seller, JLL Fitness, would not accept that the bike was faulty. The chain noise is normal according to their 'engineer'. If that's normal for that product then that product is, by design, faulty. They also claimed to have fixed the rocking handlebars, which I do not believe is possible given the design, because the box section tube into which the handlebar post slides was simply a bit too wide. The refund was only given at all because I chased them after two weeks of waiting without a refund. I protested but was skilfully stonewalled by an employee of JLL Fitness, who seemed perhaps a bit too aware of the noise issue with this bike.Because they say the product is not faulty they would not refund the full price. In total, this has cost me £32.79 and two rolls of packing tape. It's a heavy product and took hours to re-box.In summary, I would advise buying something else and will not be buying from JLL Fitness in future.
