Air vent
The vent made a huge dirrence to my bathroom. It wasn't to loud. Great value for what I paid. Easy to install and maintain. I connected it to my light switch with ease.

Worth the money!
We have installed several of these already. So the specifications aren't completely accurate. Great airflow, Reasonably Quiet. We do maintenance on rental properties and these are a "breeze" to install. "Pun intended". Add a simple junction box, make the hole about 1" bigger, and Fasten it up to some furring strips. Way easier and cleaner than patching ceiling or having to get into attic.

Buen precio y silencioso

Very nice fan, tricky to install in drop ceiling, code electrical issue
This fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air out of a bathroom we use as a smoking room during the winter.. The squirrel cage fan and open grate creates a vortex that sucks the smoke out in a hurry. We don't need to use air freshener all the time any more. However, it is not a quiet as suggested, about the same as our dishwasher. But it is 80% quieter than the old propeller fanInstallation is tricky, but what do you expect from an inexpensive fan?1. Using naked barrier strips to romex is not code nor is it safe. I used a 3' grounded AC cable cut off from an old tool, crimp connected it to the fan wire and wrapped with electricians tape. I put a Jbox with dual outlet on the joist to plug it into. This might not be exactly code, but it is safe if you are good with a crimp tool and tape.2. It is tricky to install this fan in a drop ceiling. You cant just screw it into ceiling tile -- the tile will sag and/or the fan will fall out. I cut 2 pieces of 26" long pine 1x2 to set on top of the grid. Those go on either side of the fan parallel with the fan outlet. 2" drywall screws with washers screwed it through the 2x2 drop ceiling and into the pine supports.Note: Install it in a panel that has a removable panel on both sides. You need access on both sides of the fan to hold the wood in place on top while you put the screw in from the underside, with somebody else holding the fan up in the hole while the screws are installed.3. The fan outlet has no ribs to keep the hose from popping off. The usual hand spring is not strong enough to keep the hose attached. To do it right you will need a 6" metal band clamp to connect the flex duct to the fan. Duct tape won't work, nothing to attach it to on the fan.It would be nice if Jinhong would put ribs on the outlet and provide a small plastic jbox with rubber cord seal for the wire going to the fan and with romex connector on the other side. It would also be nice if the fan wire were a bit long, say 1 meter.

Not moving any air
I can hear the fan coming on but even when blowing smoke right at it it doesn’t suck it out

it's okay on a budget
For the RPM you expect a lot of movement out of this at least I did anyways. I do not know much about bathroom fans, but I'm looking to replace this soon already for something better.
