Korg - PB-CS Pitchblack Custom Pedal Tuner with 3D Display - Black

This is an accurate and reliable tuner that I can still see even in bright sunlight. It handles low tunings (Eb on my 8-string, over an octave below standard 6-string guitar tuning).Like a lot of tuners it has a power out as well as in so I use it with a daisy chain to power a couple other pedals.Under extremely high gain you can hear the pedal's display or the circuit that mutes the output but I'd be amazed if any pedal could handle it: a RAT into a russian big muff (Sunn 0))) anyone?).The strobe mode is amazing for intonation: ridiculously precise and once you get used to the display you can tune quickly with immense accuracy.The pedal feels very well built, solid, heavy and I plastic display also seems pretty resilient. It even came with a battery in the box, which was a nice surprise.The minor gripe is that if I change the display to strobe mode (#2), and I unplug my pedal board power/disconnect power, it will reset to the standard display (#1) when I turn it on again. I've tried holding the button down to where it flashes but it doesn't seem to stick for me. Very minor thing though. I'd perhaps give it 4.5 stars if I could.

A very good looking tuner, very easy to use, very accurate, very easy to see display from various angles. Tracks guitar and bass notes fast. Slight downside, not with the tuner but it does say in the description that a battery is included but it was missing from the box that I received. Not worth deducting any stars for that, I did have a pack of Duracell's handy that I keep for other effect pedals. Very pleased with this tuner.

Nothing to dislike, does it’s job and well at that. Well worth the price and as one band I play in de tunes from E to E flat it just does it sooo smoothly and drama free when tuning.

This is an accurate tuner, but it is let down by the high pitch noise it is producing in the pedal chain I have.If you want an accurate tuner to just go between the guitar and amp, then this is probably for you. If you have a pedal board with some high gain overdrive/distortion then get the pocket version of this, because either way, you probably won’t be adding it to your board.I am going to get a Peterson strobe tuner. Had one before it broke, and it does the job amazingly.

Purchased as wanted a tuner with a large bright display & it has done the job for me. Seems pretty well built & solid enough for gigs. Have only run on battery power & not had any issues with noise. Not dived into the various modes as the default mode does the job for me, likewise not used the daisy chain for other effects.

This tuner is really good in any light conditions, day light or night, it has different display modes and it is very accurate for multi scale instruments as well as standard ones.You can't go wrong with Korg
