Once its set up and working it provides good recordable information. The instructions for set up are not fully clear and takes some trial and errot. The app records various body stats which is good but occassionaly the scale produces error codes which means resetting the computer. Live with these problems and its a good product

These scales are great. The look the business and have the software to back this up. It can tell you so much about what you need to know about the state of your body and fitness. It works by Bluetooth along with an app. It will create graphs to present the data to you in a user friendly format. There is a lot of great technology such as muscle mass, body fat, body water and BMI recording. This is great to see your progress automatically recorded on the app. You can share it too if you choose to. These kind of things can give the user enough inspiration to keep getting fitter and healthier as you can actual see the results and your history. The muscle mass option is a great feature for anyone trying to bulk up and get big as they are normally their worse critics. The beauty of this product is seeing your small progresses in data format before you notice it on your body. The scales itself is robust and yet sleek. The screen is backlit by a blue light. The feet are securely on and I doubly they will fall off or be taken off by children and lost. It uses AAA batteries instead of the cell button ones some scales use which is useful as they are easier to purchase. The scale is of quite a slim design and can be pushed under furniture out of the way when not in use.The connectivity between the scales and phone took about half an hour initially to get it right but it was mainly due to my person issues with patience! After that it was flawless. The user interface is fairly simple to understand.The only negative with this item is the English instructions. They needed to be more comprehensive.Salter offer a great warranty too which is reassuring to know.The scales are perfect for serious gym bunnies or tech fans getting fit. They’re not great for technophobes or a user requiring a simple set of scales.

Ordered as a replacement for old MiBody scales. These have a very clear read out and are easy to programme using the app on an ipad. I could not get them to link via the app on a Galaxy Note tablet or Windows phone or laptop though. Each user has their own log in so can keep track of their own data, but we all have to access this via the one ipad.in the house.

Instructions woefully poor. There is no explanation of how to get the data from the scales to the app. The app is so poor too it's laughable. Avoid this like the plague unless you have a masters degree in the nobody app.
